Did you know, 1 in 3 teens, both boys and girls, will experience some sort of abuse in a dating relationship?

On Saturday, February 16, local teens will take to the dance floor, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., at the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company Banquest Hall (5064 Stump Rd, Plumsteadville, PA 18949) to raise awareness of teen dating violence and raise funds for A Woman's Place (AWP) the only domestic violence community benefit organization in Bucks County, PA.

AWP's Young Adult Advisory Board (YAAB), comprised of teens from across Bucks County, has been working diligently to put on this event. They, along with AWP, are very excited to host this event again in 2013 and give local youth a way to give back to the community and have fun while doing it.

Last year's event was filled with music and activities such as Zumba and Bokwa. This year is promising to be just as fun, and is open to all Bucks County students in grades 7 through 12. There is a minimum donation of $15 required to attend the event. To download a registration packet, click here.

This event could not happen without the help of the Bucks County Community. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring this event, click here. If you would like to donate a food item, click here.
