Volunteering for AWP!

Looking for ways to help out this holiday season? A Woman's Place (AWP), the only domestic violence organization in Bucks County, Pennsylvania needs you!

There are tons of ways to volunteer for AWP, both at home or out in the community, while having fun and maybe even meeting a few new people. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

  • Help AWP thank all of our supporters by making thank you phone calls to donors.
  • Make follow-up calls to individuals in the community to remind them of AWP's holiday fundraising campaign and why AWP is worthy of their support.
  • Organize a group (family, friends, moms' club, book club, fitness class) to take up a collection of items from our Holiday Wish List or work together to raise money for AWP's Safe Homes for the Holidays campaign.
  • Come out to one of our fundraising events in December and bring your friends and family too! Don't miss the Hickory Kitchen Fundraiser on December 2nd or the Support-a-Potty Holiday Celebration at The Other Side on December 4th.
  • Spread the word about what AWP is doing as an organization for the rest of the year using social media.

No experience is necessary to participate. Any training that is needed will be provided.
