Future Gardeners...
I thought this last email of 2015 would be the perfect time to welcome the newest member of the family of our own garden blogger, Jessica Crawford. Little Hazel arrived 21 days past her due date on Christmas Eve at her home. That's right, she came just in time to celebrate Christmas. Big brother Grayson was all smiles as he held his little sister for the first time!
This has been quite the year for new babies. My good friend also became a first time grandmother 2 weeks ago to a beautiful little girl named Delaney. Then, just a few days ago, a long time customer sent me photos of his new little grandson, Liam Andrew Barnes, who was born on Dec. 9th. This new grandpa wrote to me that he is trying really hard not to be "That Grandpa" who can't stop telling people about his grandson. He admits it is hard! John B, just four words: welcome to my world!
So congratulations to all the new moms and dads, grandmas and granddads this past year. For all you new grandparents: welcome to the best club in the world! I'm loving the idea of all these future gardeners in training.

PS: My own family is also going to be blessed with a new addition this Spring! My grandson, Aaron, is going to be a big brother to a new baby sister! Life is good!
