There Is Something About A Tractor
My grandson Aaron loves tractors! As soon as he comes over to visit, after hello hugs, the first thing he asks his Granddad is: "Can we drive the BIG tractor?" At 3 years old, he has Granddad wrapped around his finger and when he looks all serious and says to me: "Oma, Granddad and I have a lot of work to do outside," I know that his love of tractors is alive and well.
I was showing Aaron some old photos this weekend and came across these two of my grandfather--Albert Behnke--with his youngest son, my Uncle Albert. I think once again a picture or two says it all. It totally cracks me up since it shows a side of my grandfather that few knew about. I can so imagine my husband and grandson doing this. Aaron has a pedal tractor parked in the garage next to the BIG tractor...I am thinking that the next time he visits, I am going to have to have my camera ready.
