They are there, I know they are...signs of Spring. I know my calender is getting filled up with all sorts of wonderful events and the days stay light just a little longer. With all the snow we have had, I decided to search out other signs of Spring. One of the best was two weeks ago while watching my grandson in Westminster: I saw a flock of robins outside in the SNOW! (they all flew away when I took a photo but I got one!) And everyone knows that is a sure sign that Spring is right around the corner. Of course, watching all the new and exciting products that have been arriving each day at the nursery helps. Plus, walking through the seed room and seeing folks pondering just what type of carrot or radish they are going to plant this year, or which special herbs they might try, is always such fun.
Each time I walk through that area I stop and wonder which new vegetables we will try in our own garden this year. Tonight, my husband wrote out his list so I can bring home everything once the SNOW is gone... One would think after all that shoveling and plowing he would want to rest but no--he has been out in the garage making sure the tiller is in tip-top shape. The potato sets come in March and he must be ready!! Yes, the signs are all there, you just have to look around. Share your signs of Spring with us on Facebook or Instagram. We would love to hear from you.

To register for this trip, Click Here
For the first time, the nation's first, largest and most beautiful Flower Show will join with the country's most exciting art museums to create ARTiculture!
Art and horticulture are part of a mutual admiration society that has been played out across centuries by the Masters, both gardeners and artists. Whether in a Wyeth landscape or a sweeping vista of bulbs blooming in colorful combinations, inspiration flows from both worlds to create a masterpiece on canvas and on the land.
This year's Flower Show celebrates and joins together these highly regarded museums with some of the nation's finest landscape and floral designers to create a living canvas in ARTiculture.
