Plan ahead! We're finishing our spring cleaning just in time for the first day of summer! HPL will be closing at Noon on Monday, June 20th, for our annual carpet cleaning. We reopen Tuesday, June 21st at 10:30

Upcoming Programs
Adult Coloring: Join the Fun!
Tuesday, June 21st 6-7:30pm

Come to unwind, while expressing your creativity! Adult coloring books offer a variety of designs, often intricate, just waiting to get lost in. Both colored pencils and fine tipped markers will be available, along with a wide variety of coloring books to choose pages from.

This program is free, no registration required. 
Stop by at any time between 6pm and 7:30pm.


Last Day of School Summer Kickoff!
Wednesday, June 22nd 1:30-3pm

Elementary school age children will kickoff our "On Your Mark, Get Set...READ!" summer reading program and celebrate summer vacation by "Being Your Best Self." Come help begin our LARGE Coloring Sheet Mural that will be made by YOU!

What makes you special? Our Beacon neighbor and Empowering Clerk, Ori Alon, will be here to hand out "Refurbished Report Cards" so that you can get recognition for all the great things about you that regular report cards can't show. Parents and teachers are encouraged to get one too!

International Film Night
Friday, June 24th 7pm

Join us for International Film Night. This month's feature, The Band's Visit,  is from Israel. This winner of the Cannes Film Festival, is a mesmerizing and witty story of strangers in a strange land. An Egyptian police band find themselves in a desolate Israeli village and realize the universal bonds of love, music, and life.

Admission is always free!  All films shown in their original language with English subtitles (including films in English.) Doors open at 6:30 and film starts promptly at 7:00pm.

Flower Readings with Sue Adams
Wednesday, June 29th  1-2pm

What flowers are your favorites? Which ones are you drawn to? And what can they tell us about who we are? You will select a flower and Ms. Adams will tell you what that means. Also, learn the history of the meanings of flowers.

Ms. Adams is an award-winning container designer who creates the hanging basket and container designs sold at Adams Fairacre Farms.
