We invite children 0-5, with an adult, to a Spanish Story Time! Monday at 9:45 from April 4-May 2. We will meet in the children's area to share in the love of reading and music.
Kayaking: How To Get Started

Always wanted to try kayaking, but didn't know how to get started? Join Don Urmston, Educational Director for the Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club to learn everything from A to Z. From what gear you'll need and where to go paddling - to - the topics of kayak safety and choosing your first kayak.
CAPS Anthology Launch

Join CAPS (Calling All Poets) for the launch of their poetry Anthology. Readers will include Jim Eve (host), Roger Aplon, Michelle Johnson, Marina Mati, and Mike Jukovic.
Warren Hurley:
Landscapes of Ulster County
Exhibit Opens April 9th

Join us on Second Saturday in April for the reception of Ulster County Landscapes, paintings by Warren Hurley. Mr. Hurley's current work explores the countryside near where he lives in High Falls, New York. The exhibit will be on view in The Community Room Exhibit Space from April 9th - May 7th.  Stop by and meet the artist at the reception to be held on Saturday, April 9th, from 5 pm - 7 pm.  
Beyond Casey - Baseball Poetry

We're celebrating National Poetry Month and opening day of the baseball season! Join Beacon Poet Laureate, Thomas O'Connell, for a reading of baseball poetry.
Yankees fan or Mets fan - this poetry will help to take you out to the ballgame!

Mountain Lions in New England
Thursday, April 14th 6-7pm

Join Rhode Island mountain lion specialist, Bill Betty, as he presents a PowerPoint presentation that covers all aspects of mountain lion (cougar) behavior. The various theories regarding mountain lions reoccupying the Northeast will also be discussed, as he shares his personal compelling testimony.

A workshop for children ages 6-11 and an adult family member(s) presented by Anita Rose Merando, author and elementary teacher at Randolph School & Elizabeth Castagna, an Alexander Technique teacher and Visual Artist.
