Renovations Complete! Great American Jukebox, Women's Art Exhibit
Howland Public Library eNews                       2016~v.8
New Restrooms are Now Open!

This morning, we passed our final inspection.  Library Director, Amy Raff, took former director, Fanny Keaton on a tour of the library's newly renovated restrooms. Fanny applied for the project grant before retiring in 2015 and construction started soon after Amy's arrival at the library. Now, our new restrooms are officially open!

The restroom area has been completely transformed. The updated ADA-accessible space is bright and colorful and features modern hands-free facilities. With the installation of our new automatic doors and the opening of the restrooms our Accessibility Improvement Project is now complete. We truly appreciated the community's patience and support while we made these renovations.

This project was partially funded by a Public Library Construction Grant Program from the State of New York State Education Department: New York State Library and a grant from the office of Senator Sue Serino.
