Family Movie Day "Everyone's Hero" Tuesday, 8/4, 3:30 pm-5pm
This fun-filled animated adventure (2006) was directed and inspired by the heroic Christopher Reeve. As our summer reading program theme states, "Every Hero Has a Story," and ten-year-old baseball fanatic Yankee Irving is no exception. Poor Yankee is always the last one picked for the sandlot games, but when Babe Ruth's baseball bat is stolen during the 1932 World Series, he steps up to the plate. Yankee embarks on a wild cross-country journey that teaches him the stuff real heroes are made of.
Our tube-ices are finally frozen and ready for consumption! This Rated G movie (for the whole family) is free and no registration is required.
