SENATOR WARREN VISITS CASA MYRNA

 

On February 4th, US Senator Elizabeth Warren visited Casa Myrna and the SafeLink Hotline. She met with staff and program participants to learn more about effective programs in her district and share her commitment to working for solutions to end domestic violence.

 

Senator Warren championed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), which successfully passed both the House and the Senate and was signed into law by President Obama last month. This landmark legislation extends protections and services for survivors of domestic violence.

 

 

  

MARATHON TEAM GOES EXTRA MILE FOR SURVIVORS

Only two weeks to Marathon Monday! A dedicated team of volunteers is running the 2013 Boston Marathon to raise funds for Casa Myrna's vital programs.
