Our featured program:

FISH (Friends in Service Helping)

FISH is an all-volunteer organization that is fully funded by the Community Chest.  FISH provides free rides to and from local  medical appointments for residents of Concord and Carlisle.  Although many of FISH clients are elderly patients who are unable to drive themselves, FISH has no age restriction on
its service population.  FISH responded to over 400 requests in 2013.

The 2013-2014 Annual Campaign ends on April 30th!

Please help us to spread the word!  The Community Chest annual campaign ends in a few short weeks.   In order to make the greatest impact this year, we need gifts or pledges by April 30th!

We have not yet reached our campaign goal, but with community support, we can achieve that objective. This year, The Chest hopes to raise $650,000 to support over 30 local human services programs.

It is a community commitment.  If every household that was able donated $25 towards our campaign, we would have an additional $190,000 to use to help our neighbors in need.

Please make your gift today!  Call the Community Chest office at 978-369-5250 or

Allocations 2014

Our volunteer team of 32 Concord and Carlisle residents is in the final stages of evaluating grant applications from over 30 local programs.  These committee members carefully evaluate each application, followed by an interview of each program. Funding recommendations are made after a thoughtful analysis of all information.  This year, programs have applied for well over $600,000 in funding assistance from the Community Chest.  It is our hope to be able to award as much money as we can in response to these requests.  The results of our annual campaign directly affect the dollars that we are able to distribute to these worthy programs.  Please join us in saying thank you to your neighbors who have worked tirelessly on behalf of our community.
