The Community Chest welcomes Jennifer Clarke as the Concord-Carlisle Youth Services Coordinator.  In addition to her role as Youth Services Coordinator, Jennifer works at the Milldam Nursery School and serves on the 2Volunteer Board for CCHS, among other pursuits.  Jennifer lives in Concord with her husband and two children.

The mission of the Youth Services Coordinator (YSC) is to build a network for Concord and Carlisle youth, families, neighbors, schools, and organizations to work in a coordinated effort to connect young people to resources and programs that support and nurture youth social, emotional and developmental needs.

Please visit the YSC facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ConcordCarlisleYouthServices or email her at jclarke@concordma.gov.

The Community Chest Annual Fund drive began October 1st.  We are grateful to the hundreds of donors who have already given us support of just over $200,000.  With a goal to  raise $650,000, however, we still have a long way to go.

The Community Chest is committed to its partnership with local agencies and programs through continued financial, educational and strategic support.

Please help us support the community services that hundreds of Concord and Carlisle residents rely on.

For more information about the Community Chest, please visit our website, www.cccommunitychest.org, or call the office at (978)369-5250.

Community Chest to Collect Holiday Gifts for Community Members in Need

The Community Chest will operate its annual collection of unwrapped holiday gifts for all ages at the Concord Parade of Giving and and Town Tree lighting in Concord Center on Sunday, December 1st at 5:00pm.  Collected gifts will be distributed to local agencies and programs who have identified local residents in need of support during the holiday season.  Gifts should be in new condition.  If you will not be at the tree lighting and would like to contribute a gift, please contact the Community Chest office at (978)369-5250 to arrange a drop off time.  To learn more about the Tree Lighting, visit the Concord Chamber of Commerce website at http://concordchamberofcommerce.org/
Annual Allocations Process Set to Begin
The Annual Allocations process begins in mid-December when the Community Chest distributes grant applications to any non-profit that focuses on human services and Concord and Carlisle residents.  The Community Chest will accept applications until January 10, 2014.  Please email info@cccommunitychest.org for an application or for more information on eligibility.

The allocations process thoughtfully, rigorously, and systematically evaluates all grant applications.  The allocations committee is a volunteer group comprised of Chest board members and community members from Concord and Carlisle.
