Our featured program:

The Concord Children's Center (CCC) provides quality, year-round childcare and early education for children starting at ten weeks of age through second grade, at three locations in Concord.  CCC is committed to assuring accessibility to its educational program to all families through their tuition assistance program.  The Community Chest provides significant funding to the CCC tuition assistance program.  Through this $45,000 grant, CCC is able to provide scholarships to 25 children who, without assistance would not have the opportunity attend a quality early childcare program in Concord.  The Community Chest is proud to partner with Concord Children's Center in this important initiative.

Announcing the 2013-2014 Annual Campaign!

Fall has arrived and October marks the kick-off to the Community Chest Annual Campaign!  For over 67 years, the Community Chest has appealed to community residents and businesses to give what they can to help neighbors in need.  Last year, the Community Chest supported 29 local agencies that touch the lives of many community members who need help, whether it be rent assistance, domestic violence support, mental health support, elder care, early childhood scholarships, legal aid or food assistance.  The 2013-2014 campaign aims to raise  $650,000 to continue to help address the needs of these vital community organizations and programs.  We thank our loyal donors for their continued support but also make a plea to residents who don't include the Community Chest in their philanthropic giving to consider making a donation.
If every resident in Concord and Carlisle who was able to make a donation of just $25 made that contribution, The Chest would have an additional $190,000 to distribute in support of our neediest neighbors and friends.

The towns of Concord and Carlisle officially recognize the work that the Community Chest does by proclaiming October to be "Community Chest Month".

Please consider joining the campaign! Click here to donate now!
Thank  you!

Children challenge each other and their adult counterparts to a fast-moving and fun pumpkin rolling race.
In addition to the Pumpkin Roll, there will be pumpkin bowling, pumpkin shot put, face painting, sack races, crafts, music, food and more. The activity booths at the PumpkinFest will highlight some of the important local agencies that the Chest supports.

Tell a friend and join us for a festive, family afternoon!
