Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Celebrates
Day of Giving

Minuteman Arc Minuteman ARC happily accepts its Community Chest grant.

On the beautifully sunny morning of June 12th, over 50 agency representatives, citizens, and Chest board and allocations committee members gathered at the Concord Town House to reflect on and celebrate the work and accomplishments of the past year.  The Chest engages in a thorough process of reviewing grant applications, interviewing applicant programs and awarding funds.  The Community Chest was thrilled to announce its ability to grant over $547,000 for fiscal year 2012-2013 to 31 deserving local agencies and programs that do so much to enrich the towns of Concord and Carlisle.

Board Transitions

The Community Chest wishes to thank its board members of 2011-12 for their hard work over the past year.  We would especially like to recognize Wendy McNally, Maura Perkins, Patty Popov, Ed Prewitt, Mark Russell Prior, Valerie Thayer and Adam Winstanley, who will be stepping down from board service. Their contributions have been invaluable.  In addition, Betsy Veidenheimer will complete her term as President of the Board of Directors.  She has been a supportive leader and has dedicated countless hours to the Community Chest during her tenure.
