The Southeastern Synod is excited to announce that it is moving its office in 2017! Plans are underway to begin preparing dedicated office space on the beautiful St. John's, Atlanta campus. These plans include an addition plus a build-out of current space within the church building. The new addition will be called the Troutman-Gordy Atrium in honor of former LCA Southeastern Synod bishop Gerald S. Troutman and current ELCA Southeastern Synod bishop H. Julian Gordy.
This Southeastern Synod and St. John's partnership, which we are calling A Living Lutheran Legacy, will mean significant savings on rent and parking for the Southeastern Synod. This savings will mean more mission support to fund ministry throughout our four state synod.
We need your help to make this vision a reality! Our goal is to raise $450,000 in gifts and pledges by December 31 to complete the addition and build-out. To date we have received $50,000 in gifts and pledges. Generous donations today by individual members and congregations across the Southeastern Synod will enable us to achieve this goal together!
