Weather Update
Lake County is under a Winter Weather Advisory Today - Forecast Calls for 3 to 6 Inches of Snow and Strong Winds
A mix of rain, sleet, and snow is expected to move into our area late this morning, with intense wet snow likely this afternoon and evening. Snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches is possible tonight, although there is uncertainty in the forecast due to the warm temperatures. The forecast also includes strong winds potentially 20 to 25 mph from the east-northeast, and gusts as high as 40 mph. The wind will result in blowing snow and limited visibility, presenting challenges during the afternoon and evening commute.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon until 9 p.m.
