Dear Parents and the Community,

As we enter Thanksgiving week, I wish to remind you that on Wednesday, Nov. 25, there will be an emergency dismissal drill. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes earlier than usual at all schools. Please make the necessary arrangements for your child(ren).

Student pick-up times for buses and parents are as follows:
Hawthorne and Columbus Elementary Schools: 2:40 p.m.
Westlake Middle School: 2:03 p.m.
Westlake High School: 1:57 p.m.

At this special time of year, when all of us reflect with gratitude on the many wonderful people who are in our lives, I wish to extend my own special thanks to our school family. To the parents, students and staff in the Mount Pleasant schools, and to our extended family, the members of our community who take an active interest in seeing that our district continues to move in a positive direction, I would like you to know that your contributions are very much appreciated.
