tions Coordinator, he hosts visiting groups and individuals, promotes
CI-UCBC in area schools and churches, and serves as Master of Ceremonies for wedding receptions, community events, and celebrations. In short,
Kizito is a man of many talents. For most people coming to
CI-UCBC from outside the region,
Kizito serves as greeter, host, negotiator, logistician, and traveling companion.
Kizito is the one who makes the grueling 2-hour drive to the DRC/Uganda border to bring visitors across the border. He manages the paperwork as one crosses into DRC from Uganda. He stands firm in the face of constant pressure from government officials to pay bribes. His response to a bribe demand is,
"UCBC is building a new country. That's how we are paying."
