Oct. 22 - Export Matchmaker Trade Fair & Conference

This free event, geared toward small business manufacturers, distributors or suppliers interested in exporting or export intermediaries who source domestic products, features numerous workshops with successful exporters and promises to show that exporting can be as easy as domestic sales.

Oct. 24 - Manufacturing Summit

Attention all manufacturing officials interesting in growing your business through innovation, workforce solutions and global strategy.

Oct. 24, Nov. 28 and Dec. 5 - Learn it, Live it, Leader-Shop series

Whether you are a seasoned manager or new to management, these workshops will help you navigate the sometimes treacherous path of leading and managing.

Oct. 29-30 -Small Modular Reactor Supplier Summit 2012

This St. Louis event will introduce SMR to all interested Missouri manufacturers or service providers of engineering, manufacturing, steel products, fabrication, machining, electrical equipment and metals and electrical wholesale products.

Oct. 30-31 - Regional Grow Your Own Conference

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City offers the regional Grow Your Own Conference, which will focus on powerful new economic development strategies for your community with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and building on its inherent strengths.
Oct. 31-Nov. 1 - Angel investing basics for startups
The Columbia, Mo. seminar will provide an overview of the angel investing process. Comprised of a balance of expert presentations, panel discussions and small group case studies, it is designed to be highly interactive and features several opportunities to network between participants and speakers.

Nov. 5 and Dec. 4 - Business Law 101: Legal Considerations for Starting a Business
