District partially rezoning four campuses
Pearland ISD is moving forward with partial rezoning in 2016-17 to relieve overcrowding at Cockrell and C.J. Harris elementary schools, Sablatura Middle School and Pearland Junior High West. The plan is to move the minimum number of students possible to the nearest schools with additional capacity. More
DHS, PHS claim 20 all-state performers
Pearland ISD students make their mark in music once again. The district celebrates a record 20 students selected to perform in Texas Music Educators Association all-state ensembles. These students will perform at the annual TMEA convention later this month. More
Berry Miller claims Quiz Bowl title
Once again, Berry Miller Junior High students proved they can't be beat. The teammates won their third consecutive district Quiz Bowl championship Jan. 22. This Academic Decathlon-style event drew competitors from all Pearland ISD middle school and junior high campuses. More
Nine winners showcasing art at Houston Rodeo
Pearland ISD tips its hat to nine rodeo art winners. These artists will display their award-winning pieces at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this March. More
