We are in full swing with upcoming events including the Networking Power Lunch, Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies, and the Gallatin "Winter Wonderland Christmas" Parade.  Don't forget to pick up your Gallatin Christmas Ornament "Randy's Record Shop" the 4th in our series. They are available at the Gallatin Chamber office, Perkins Drugs & Gift Shoppe, and Melanie's Custom Framing & Gifts. 
     Sign up and sponsorship is also available for the Gallatin Shamrock Run set for March 14, 2015. This event will include a 5K and a 10K this year and proceeds will go to innovative educational program teacher awards in Gallatin.

Gallatin Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & "Magic on Main Street" at the Gallatin Public Library
Friday, December 5th
Time: Beginning at 5:00pm
Location: Public Square
               Gallatin, Tennessee
Mayor Graves will light the City Christmas Tree on the downtown square Friday, December 5, rain or shine. The event begins at 5 p.m. with singing by children's choirs from local churches. Once they are done, Mayor Graves will flip the switch and light the tree. Greater Gallatin will open the Santa House. It's a good time for pictures with the family. The Gallatin Library hosts the "Magic on Main Street-Trees of Christmas" that night after the tree lighting. The library event is open to the public, as well. It features a special music experience for children, refreshments and a visit from Santa. For more information about the City tree lighting, contact the Mayor's Office. For more information about "Magic on Main Street", contact the library at 615-452-1722.

Santa's House, sponsored by Greater Gallatin, will be open on Friday and Saturday nights through December 13 on Gallatin's Historic Downtown Square. Santa will be there to make lists (and check them twice.) The dates are Dec.5th &6th, and 12th &13th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each of those evenings. Christmas Parade - Sign Up Today
"A Winter Wonderland Christmas"

Parade Date: Saturday, December 13th at Noon
The annual Gallatin Christmas Parade will start on Steam Plant Road, travel through Downtown Gallatin, and end at the Gallatin High School. Thousands of spectators line the streets to watch the parade pass through town. In 2013, parade entries were over 125 and this year promises to be bigger and better. Your support is vital to the continued success of this event and is valuable to your business as a marketing tool.  Please consider sponsoring this year's celebration, as it is an opportunity to build company recognition before one of Gallatin's largest audiences.  Contact the Chamber office at 615.452.4000, if you have any questions or would like to sponsor or participate in the Gallatin Christmas Parade.   Sponsorship deadline is 11-07-2014.
