INVITATION: Please join the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for this workshop to discuss the corridor vision for State Route 109 in Sumner and Wilson Counties.
PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The goal of the State Route 109 Access Managment Study is to develop access management standards and guidelines that will preserve and enhance the long-term safety, efficiency, economic development, and environmental resources of the State Route 109 corridor.
PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
The first round of public workshops will focus on establishing the Corridor Vision and address public priorities, such as relieving congestion and improving safety.  A brief presentation will be followed by opportunities for the public to identify issues or areas of particular concern.

Belvedere Drive is: October 15th - 17th, 20th - 24th and 27th - 30th (8am to 4:30pm) AND Saturdays, October 18th & 25th (9am - 12pm). Location: Gallatin's Historic Downtown Square
About: Downtown merchants & businesses will open their doors to trick or treaters from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Friday, October 31st.  This event is geared toward pre-school age children as an alternative to trick or treating in the evening.

4th Annual Sumner County Artists & Artisans Studio Tour 2014 - November 1st & 2nd

The 12 studios of the 2014 Sumner County Artists and Artisans Studio Tour will be open during the first weekend of November at the following times:
November 1 from 10am to 5pm
November 2 from 1pm to 5pm
The 32 artists/artisans whose work is on exhibit during this weekend are active members of The Art Guild of Sumner County, which is affiliated the Gallatin Arts Council and also the Hendersonville Arts Council. Both organizations provide guidance and support to all artists in Sumner County. .
We hope you will reserve the dates and join us on the tour!
Many of the individual studios are holding drawings for door prizes that are unique to their studios. Please be sure to ask at each studio how you may be entered into the drawings for the prize(s) there.
In addition to the individual studio door prizes, each guest who visits all 12 studios during the weekend (verified by a stamped entry form found on the Tour Program) will be entered into our Grand Prize drawings for prizes from the
Schermerhorn Symphony Center
First and Second Prize ~~ Two tickets to a classical music series performance of your choice at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center ($200 value, redeemable through Nov 2014)

Parade Date: Saturday, December 13th at Noon

The annual Gallatin Christmas Parade will start on Steam Plant Road, travel through Downtown Gallatin, and end at the Gallatin High School. Thousands of spectators line the streets to watch the parade pass through town. In 2013, parade entries were over 125 and this year promises to be bigger and better. Your support is vital to the continued success of this event and is valuable to your business as a marketing tool.  Please consider sponsoring this year's celebration, as it is an opportunity to build company recognition before one of Gallatin's largest audiences.  Contact the Chamber office at 615.452.4000, if you have any questions or would like to sponsor or participate in the Gallatin Christmas Parade.   Sponsorship deadline is 11-07-2014.
