National Night Out
Date: Tuesday, August 5th
Time: 6:00pm
Location: The Palace Theater
Admission: Free
The Gallatin Police Department will be hosting its annual national Night Out event on August 5, 2014 at 6pm. All citizens of Gallatin are invited to attend this free event in the Palace Theater, 146 N Water Avenue, located on Gallatin's Historic Square. Disney's "The Incredibles" will be shown for entertainment in addition to multiple crime prevention displays. Please come and enjoy community fellowship with the Gallatin Police department and the City of Gallatin elected officials. Concessions will also be available.  
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness in our communities and to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.  It has been proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to bring communities together, to send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and are fighting back to reduce crime. For additional information:

Be Sure to Vote on August 7th

Thursday, August 7 is the State and Federal Primary, State General Election for Judges, County General Election and Judicial Retention Election.

All 27 precincts in Sumner County will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Anyone standing in line at 7 p.m. will be able to vote.

The City of Gallatin is proud to present a New FREE Summer Concert Series for the entire family. The Freedom Church Worship Team will kick off the first concert! The next shows will feature Mike Scott - Banjo & Bluegrass on July 10th, and The Todd London Jazz Trio on August 14th. Everyone plan to bring your lawn chairs out for a night of great music under the stars at the Gallatin Farmers' Market in Historic Downtown Gallatin. Christmas Parade Theme Has Been Set.....

The annual Gallatin Christmas Parade will start on Steam Plant Road, travel through Downtown Gallatin, and end at the Gallatin High School. Thousands of spectators line the streets to watch the parade pass through town. In 2013, parade entries were over 125 and this year promises to be bigger and better. Your support is vital to the continued success of this event and is valuable to your business as a marketing tool.  Please consider sponsoring this year's celebration, as it is an opportunity to build company recognition before one of Gallatin's largest audiences.  Contact the Chamber office at 615.452.4000, if you have any questions or would like to sponsor or participate in the Gallatin Christmas Parade.
