Drinking coffee daily may help caffeine drinkers stave off cirrhosis, according to a study from Southampton University. Two cups of coffee daily may lead to a significant reduction in the risk of liver disease, and the benefits may increase with greater consumption.  Quartz (2/22)

A study published in the journal Health Psychology found that people who feel older than their age are 10% to 25% more likely to be hospitalized within two to 10 years. "Individuals with an older subjective age are more likely to be sedentary and to experience faster cognitive decline, all of which may precipitate a hospital stay," said researcher Antonio Terracciano of Florida State University. Findings were based on data gathered from over 10,000 adults between 1995 and 2013. HealthDay News (2/25)
