wisdom from our canine companions

Something to ponder: "Did humans "domesticate" wolves to suit our purposes, or did some very smart wolves domesticate humans to feed, house and love them, free of charge?" ~Philip E. HumbertIf dogs were the teachers, you would learn stuff like: - When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
- Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
- Let fresh air and the wind in your face be pure ecstasy.
- When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
- Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
- Take naps.
- Stretch before rising.
- Run, romp, and play daily.
- Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
- Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
- On warm days, stop to lie on your back in the grass.
- On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
- When you're happy, dance around and wag your whole body.

When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self-assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.
