LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! 

 

  From time to time Baseball Solutions is made aware of various baseball related projects that we feel might be of interest to the central Texas baseball community. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and have participated in a handful of Hollywood and television projects and have found them to be allot of fun.

  Below is information regarding a casting call hosted in Austin next week. The information provided below is very specific and time is of the essence. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in this project please feel free to forward this e-mail. Contact the casting director ASAP (casting directors contact information is listed below).

CASTING NOTICE: Vicky Boone Casting needs a man, 21-25, to play a pitcher trying out for a pro baseball team in an industrial video for Verizon Wireless.

REQUIREMENTS: Interested players should have experience pitching at the high school level. Collegiate or professional level preferred. *No acting experience required. These roles have no dialogue.

LOCATION: Austin & the surrounding area

AUDITION DATE: Monday, May 13th

FILMING DATE(S): May 16th and 17th

PAY: principle actor (pitcher) $850 per session and 2-year use. If additional day is needed, $500 session; extras $150/day
Local Hire. Fitting included in rate.

ADDITIONAL PLAYERS/COACHES: We are also casting additional baseball players to play extras in the video. Submitters should have experience playing baseball on the high school, college, or professional level.
