    Good morning. Yesterday's field clinic was outstanding and I really enjoyed my time visiting with parents about spring high school tryout observations and reviewing the Base Running curriculum we were covering with the boys.

  During the workout, we focused on base running and covered six crucial skills relevant to each base. I referenced a handout yesterday that has been prepared and posted on the ABC spring home page. Each ball player needs to print this handout and are encouraged to make notes next to each data point in an effort to review the information covered yesterday as well as reinforce that they clearly understand this critical aspect of their game. My desire would be that ball players will file our handouts in a folder for quick reference and review. Reminder, it's time to adjust from just "playing " baseball into becoming a better baseball "player".
