ABC 2015-2017 grad families,

Knowledge is power. I want to have the opportunity to lay out some tips regarding "All Things Spring". I invite you to join myself and other members of the ABC staff as we examine how to maximize your spring baseball season:

2015 grads will have an opportunity this spring to catch the attention of varsity coaches; you have one HS season under your belt; you HAVE to build on last season

2016 grads will be participating in your first high school baseball tryout and season.

2017 grads can gain invaluable insight into the challenges you will face 365 days from now.

After 14 years of working full time with high school ball players and families (10 as head varsity baseball coach), I have a treausre-trove of information that I am confident can help give you the edge going into - and - coming out of the spring high school season this year. My desire is that each sophomore make varsity and every freshman make the JV1 squad.

What are the most important things to focus on?

How do I get answers to questions?

Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint; what is the "big picture" perspective?

I hope you will join me on Sunday:

Sun 1/20 - 1:00, Spring season strategy meeting for 2015 grad players & parents @ south indoor academy. Topics include: strategies for making strong impression; three things a varsity candidate MUST know; how to best approach your high school coach with questions; What, I am on JV2?, etc - register
