Good afternoon. I spent time this morning meeting with a representative from the local FCA chapter (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and members of the Austin High School coaches association discussing details surrounding a unique baseball opportunity that both groups are co-sponsoring on Sat, 12/1. I will keep you posted regarding more details, but wanted to give you a heads-up so that you can put a save the date memo on your calendar.
The coaches and I once again appreciate your flexibility regarding the issues we have encountered due to wet weather this fall. The forecast for this weekend is blue skies and comfortable temperatures. Please make sure you check your team page for game day info.
The field clinic this Saturday (10/20) will be hosted at Westwood HS and Preston Field (south Austin, near Zilker Park - link to directions is on your team page). Start times are 9:00 & 10:00. Participate at the venue that is closest to your home. Both locations will be covering the same drills & activities. Visit the ABC fall home page to register (registration deadline is Fri , 2:00).

Rain washed out a majority of the games in central Texas last Sunday, but the ABC Giants and ABC Sox (2017 grads) were able to get their double headers in up in Killeen. Coaches game notes are posted. Check fall home page for link.
