Jeremy Surveys The Allagash Barrel Room |
Allagash Saison is their interpretation of a
classic Belgian farmhouse style; Allagash Black is a Belgian style stout brewed with 2 Row barley, torrified wheat, oats, both roasted and chocolate malt and a generous portion of dark caramelized candi sugar. Allagash Dubbel boasts a deep red color and a complex malty taste. Tripel, this strong golden ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with suggestions of banana and honey in the complex palate. 2014 Fluxus is a bier de miel brewed with a blend of 2-row and vienna malts, spruce tips and honey.
Allagash Curieux was their first foray into barrel aging. Curieux is made by aging their Tripel Ale in Jim Beam bourbon barrels for eight weeks in their cold cellars.
