JEREMY COLLABORATES THE COLLABORATORS
"
Jeremy DeChario, General Manager, Has Brought In The "Belgians" For Your Tasting Pleasure

It's no secret the we enjoy Belgian inspired beers here at the Co-op. This week we received a truck loaded with two delicious collaborations between one of our favorite breweries, Maryland based gypsy-brewer Stillwater Artisanal and Sweden's hop-centric brewery Omnipollo.

Post Colonial Style Ale
First up in the remix series is Premium, an old Stillwater offering and basis for another Stillwater favorite, Classique Premium is a funky brettanomyces saison and Omnipollo treats it with a generous portion of Amarillo hops giving it a citrusy, orange-like aroma and flavor.  This works well with the young strain of Brett to give the saison a fruity, slightly bitter flavor.

Babylonian Style Ale
Second is Omnipollo's hop bomb Nebuchadnezzar taken by Stillwater's owner/brewer Brian Strumke and given the wild treatment.  This hop forward IPA gets a tasty dose of brettanomyces yeast to give some of that citrusy funk.
