REMARKABLE LIQUIDS ARRIVE FOR HOLIDAY SEASON
"
Jeremy DeChario, Brau Meister, Has Some Great Picks For You To Select From For The Holiday Season!

A truck from Remarkable Liquids in Albany has just delivered some goodies for the holiday season.  They are continuing to bring world class domestic and imported microbrews into the Upstate market.  We've received a collection of seasonal beers imported from Belgium and some limited release domestics.

Gulden Draak
Brouwerij Van Steenberge Brewmaster's Edition Gulden Draak
This beer is a whiskey barrel aged Belgian pale ale.  It pours a cloudy amber with a medium body and a froth stubborn of foamy head that leaves a rich lacing down the glass. It has the aroma of apple and pears with some holiday sweet spice.  Has flavors of apple pie and spices, with a boozy vanilla barrel character to finish.

Wittekerke Winter White Ale
Belgain Style Double Wit
Citrus and fruity Belgian yeasts dominate with some sweet boozy notes to follow.  Flavors of Belgian yeast and citrus fruit, some alcohol in the finish.  It is light and tart in the body and finishes clean.

The Musketeers Troubador Magma
The 2013 Special Edition is dry hopped with Australian Galaxy hops. Pours with a murky golden reddish hue, and a persistent lacy white head.  The aroma is floral and fruity from the Galaxy hops. The Belgian yeast and Aussie hops work together nicely. It is a very well balanced lower IBU india pale ale.

Evil Twin Bozo Beer
This new release from Evil Twin comes in at a whopping 17.2% ABV and has a list of additions that includes molasses, chocolate, vanilla bean, chestnut and coffee.  Beer pours like motor oil with one finger of head chocolatey head.  With the myriad of ingredients it is surprising to taste all of them through the beer.  The most standout thing about the Evil Twin stouts is the mouthfeel, rich, thick and pillowy.  Finishes with just the slightest tingle of heat, and little to no alcohol flavor.

Evil Twin Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Biscotti Break
A variant of the Imperial Biscotti Break, this is easily one of the top 5 beers that I've tried this year.  Pours dark and thick with just the slightest amount of mocha colored head.  Smells deliciously of vanilla, oak and chocolatey coffee.  The flavor is much of the same as the aroma, with some added bourbon.  Just an amazing mouthfeel, and spectacularly balanced.
