Cayla Holds Some Of Jen's Supplement Clearance Items
Jen has decided to rebuild the Co-op's selection of supplements and the first thing she is doing is replacing the "Syracuse Real Food Co-op" line of supplements with a new array of supplement products. She is now putting all the "Syracuse Real Food Co-op" items on clearance for $4.99. Jen is starting the rebuild with these items:

Rainbow Light Super C 1,000 mg
Rainbow Light is a line of high quality supplements formulated with science-based ingredients and superfood extracts. This Vitamin C is gentle on the stomach, containing ascorbic acid and buffered calcium ascorbate, and also features antioxidant support from grape, cranberry and red cabbage. These tablets are vegan.

Rainbow Light Kids One Chewable Multivitamin
This is a chewable, fruit punch flavored, star shaped multivitamin for kids and is formulated with vegetable concentrates, probiotics, and tonic herbs such as nettle, chamomile and peppermint. It is free of allergens such as gluten, yeast, milk, eggs, soy, nuts, and fish/shellfish.

Spectrum Fish Oil 1,000 mg Softgels
This fish oil comes in convenient gel capsules. According to the Spectrum website, "Our Fish Oil comes from non-threatened species of wild-caught, small, plankton-feeding fish (anchovies, mackerel and sardines) that are low on the food chain. Harvesting these types of fish also ensures that our oil tests below acceptable limits of harmful contaminants."

Natrol Melatonin 3 mg
Melatonin is a popular, drug-free sleep aid that helps to normalize sleep patterns. This formula contains Vitamin B-6, which is essential for the production of melatonin.

Organic India Ashwagandha Capsules
Ashwagandha is an herbal adaptogen that can help the body adapt to stress. It can relieve exhaustion, help with insomnia, increase stamina and calm the nervous system. These capsules are gluten-free and vegan.

Nature's Answer Alcohol-Free Echinacea Extract
Echinacea is an herb that supports the immune system. Extracts are absorbed more quickly by the body than capsules or tablets, and this one is alcohol-free.

Stop by Jen's department on your next trip to the Co-op and take advantage of the closeout items & check out the new offerings on the shelves.

PERMACULTURE PROJECT UPDATE

Bagged Leaves Are On Site & Hole Is Dug For Apple Tree

We're cranking things up on the permaculture front. Thanks to members Brian Goldblatt & Georgette Nicolaides for making monetary donations to the cause and member Brad Fierke for offering his vehicle for mulch, straw and tree transportation. Also Michelle Maw for hard logs and some bulbs for planting. If you have a desire to help spruce up our backyard, donations are appreciated of either money (we're looking at about $100 in expenses for this work day), or donations of goods and materials (a dwarf apple tree, straw bales, bagged leaves, hardwood logs around 10"-14" diameter and 4'-8' length).  Join the SRFC and The Alchemical Nursery for a prep work day on Saturday November 30th from 12 noon - 2 pm to get the Co-op's backyard ready for a Spring transformation.

Contact Don DeVeau don@syracuserealfood.coop / 315-472-1385) for donations or Frank Cetera (frcetera@alchemicalnursery.org 315-308-1372).
