Dear Friends,
Venice Community Housing is almost ready for the 24th annual Jazz Champagne Brunch! After 23 years at Palms Court, we have outgrown our venue. True to VCH's roots, the event remains in Venice, but will be held in Elkgrove Circle of Lincoln Place Apartment Homes! The new space at Elkgrove Circle provides us a beautiful outdoor venue with plenty of room to move about, a larger stage, and an even bigger and better silent auction! We thank Lincoln Place for welcoming us with open arms and we thank you for your continued support.
We look forward to seeing you at Jazz at Lincoln Place on September 18th!

Faces of Jazz at Lincoln Place
|
This year, we welcome jazz legend, Barbara Morrison as Jazz at Lincoln Place's musical guest. Barbara, recognized by NPR as one of the 50 Greatest Jazz Vocalists, has been pleasing audiences for more than three decades. One of the hardest working and busiest jazz and blues entertainers in the business, Barbara has an impressive discography of recordings that include 3 Grammy nominations. Barbara has a steadily growing list of accomplishments as a recording artist, with more than 20 of her own albums/CDs that feature a catalog of original compositions, popular standards- some love and some in studio. A staple on the Southern California jazz scene, performing frequently with her duo and trio, she also tours extensively throughout the US and abroad.
