Food Safety Naughty List # 2: Sampling Raw Cookie Dough

Sneaking a sample of raw cookie dough? Harmful bacteria in the raw dough will know if you've been naughty -- even if no one saw you do it!

Raw cookie dough is tempting, but just a lick can make you sick. Cookie dough has multiple raw ingredients that need to be cooked to be safe.

Kids aren't the only culprits. A study of risky behaviors found that 53% of young adults consume raw cookie dough.

Don't sample raw cookie dough if you want to stay on the food safety nice list!

The finished, baked product will be just as delicious - and you'll have more to share. Always bake with a helper if you think you'll be tempted!
