AMERICAN AGENCY HELPING HUMAN TRAFFICKED EARTHQUAKE WOMEN AND CHILDREN                

                               
Vancouver, WA -  April 28, 2015 - Back in 2012 at the Northwest Conference Against Trafficking in Portland, Oregon Anuradha Koirala, Founder of Maiti Nepal, was a keynote speaker at the conference.  Since 2012, the National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) has continued the friendship with Koirala.  In addition, NWCAVE has continued the friendship with Brigitte and Joe Collins founders of Friends of Maiti Nepal, the American office of the organization. 

 

Effective today, in an effort to help their organization get back on their feet from the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal, NWCAVE has partnered with Friends of Maiti Nepal to help raise vital funding needed for the home that provides shelter and security for human trafficked women and children.
