In our last summer newsletter we highlight conferences of our partners and encourage you to attend any you can depending on your interests and need for continuing education in your profession.
For NWCAVE, we have partnered with three great campaigns to bring you one powerful summit to the Pacific Northwest in January. We have partnered with Nomore.org, Onebillionrising.org and Take25.org in an effort to say NO MORE to violence against women and children and we hope you will join us in January. Our emcee for the January 17th No More Summit will be our good friend and Chief Investigative Correspondent at 'Inside Edition' Lisa Guerrero (seen on the left with Mariska Hargitay at 'TheTalk' when Lisa co-hosted).
Mariska, best known for her character Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was inspired by her role as a detective on the NBC hit drama to create the Joyful Heart Foundation which years later created a powerful campaign known to many at the No More Campaign which today NWCAVE is proud to be a national partner and sparked our vision for the upcoming No More Summit on January 17, 2014.
