Thank You!

The National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation has a DREAM...a World Without Violence & Human Trafficking, we hope you do to!

It's been a busy year for NWCAVE and those we serve.  We thank so many of you that want to see the DREAM become a reality!  Thank you for sticking by us, lifting us up and encouraging us to continuing to reach for the DREAM! To see what people have to say click here!

NWCAVE was started with a DREAM in 2009 by a group of women wanting to make a difference in the world.  Fast forward to 2012, some of the original women decided to move mountains to keep the successful program growing and making a difference in the lives of others, thus National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation was born. We applied for our tax exemption to the IRS in September 2012 and what was to be 90 days to hear of our determination took over twelve months because of the backlog of applications the IRS had to process not to mention the Government Shutdown.  In November 2013 we were granted our 501(c)(3), which to all of us was an early Christmas present!

NWCAVE strives to make a difference through our Missing Persons Division, our National Women's Conferences Against Trafficking (NWCAT), our Media Council, Speakers Bureau, National Campaigns and our ongoing online presence. We strive to have a voice for the missing and a voice against all forms of violence towards humanity.  As a volunteer operated nonprofit and the many unforeseen delays with our exemption, funding sources this past year have been scarce but we're still going strong! Thank you to all of our individuals and corporate donors this past year, your financial support has given hope to families of missing children and your generosity has made it possible for us to continue educating the public to help prevent violence and human trafficking in the communities we serve.  To all of the sponsors and partners who have our back for our upcoming Southwest Conference Against Trafficking in January, we thank you!

We have so many plans in 2014 and we hope each of you will be a part of them!  If you are looking for an end-of-the-year tax deduction, please consider making a donation to NWCAVE today!

We wish all of you a very Happy and Healthy New Year!  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a DREAMER too!

Sincerely,

Michelle Bart, President and Co-Founder
