Missing Alabama Mother
NWCAVE Case: Lisa Wallace
| Lisa Wallace |
Lisa Wallace (35) from Eufaula, Alabama, was last seen according to police reports by her husband Chris on October 27, 2012 around 1pm at their home, however the last time anyone else heard from Lisa was October 26, 2012. According to police, Lisa's husband took their 2-year old daughter to his mother's house following an argument they had around 1pm on October 27th. Lisa never showed up to work and upon learning Lisa was missing, her mother Barbara, not husband, filed a missing person report with police on November 3, 2012.
Barbara Covey, Lisa's mother has retained the services of the National Women's Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation to help launch a media campaign to find her daughter. In addition, Barbara has also been working with a private investigator in hopes to find evidence of the whereabouts of Lisa. NWCAVE's Missing Person's Division is headed by Shelley Shaffer and the Private Investigator handling our investigation is Katharine Johnston.
Ms. Covey believes that investigators and the media need to be asking the questions that are relevant to Lisa's disappearance: Who last saw Lisa? When was Lisa last seen? Why did Lisa's mother have to file a missing person report; why didn't her husband Chris file the report? Why was there blood in their bathroom? These are questions that need to be asked and answered...
FACT: Lisa Wallace is a mother of a two-year-old baby girl who was last seen on October 26th by her husband and almost four months later, still no clues to what happened to Barbara's daughter.
FACT: Lisa recently had surgery for a brain tumor prior to her disappearance and was set to undergo another surgery in December 2012.
FACT: Lisa was in the process of leaving her husband and coincidently disappeared soon after.
