ALASKA #156   SAVE $8500 YACHT BASED BROWN                                       BEAR HUNT-    THIS SEPTEMBER
Last Minute Special
This is a premiere hunt aboard a luxury 70 foot boat with staterooms and private baths! They have a wonderful chef serving awesome food and wives are welcome. This is hunting in luxury!

Due to unusual circumstances they just had a very rare cancellation; and contacted us and authorized us to offer our Hunt Nation clients, an true special on a fall brown bear hunt for TWO HUNTERS. This is a very popular hunt and  is booked up into 2020! So grab this once in a life-time chance now.

Hunt will be conducted from the boat, using skiffs to access shore. You will hunt in their world renowned hunting area on Chichagof Island.

This is one of the famed ABC Islands, hosting the highest concentration of brown bears in the world! Lots of bears means lots of opportunity and they will work hard to get you the trophy of your dreams. Bears average 8 ½  to 9 ½ feet; and seeing 10 to 20 bears a day is not unusual! Bears in fall key on salmon streams, concentrating them even more. Many shot opportunities are under 50 yards as you work the streams. You will be walking in hip boots on slippery rocks all day long, and a staff to help you is a good idea. We think a 375 magnum is ideal, but have either iron sights or a low 2.5 power scope! In evenings, take a hot shower, enjoy beer and wine, savor the views and you have a recipe for a quality experience with big savings!

Dates are Sept 15-24, 2016
Original Cost was $32,500 per hunter
Discount Price- $24,000 per hunter
This is for 10 days hunting, lodging, meals and trophy fee for one brown bear. Deer and duck hunting may be added and we will waive all trophy fees (normally $5,500 per deer). Fishing is included. Non hunters welcome for $2500. There will be ONE other hunter aboard, a repeat client.

This is a small personalized one on one hunt, fall hunts can be somewhat physical as we will be hiking the salmon streams and are dependent on fish runs and weather.

Please contact me immediately if interested.

UTAH #29    MTN LION ADVENTURE- 95% SUCCESS
This is one of the best houndsmen we know of. He is known far and wide as one of the best breeders and best cat hound trainers in the West, and he has been doing it for nearly 30 years!

Lion hunts are totally dependent on the quality of the dogs! Some of our clients from France who have hound hunted for leopards, jaguars, lions and more, called him the best they have ever seen!
His dogs do excellent on bare ground, given any reasonable set of conditions. In snow they are of course superb. His dogs do equally well on bobcat and black bear. He hunts some gorgeous and scenic areas in southern Utah and Northern Arizona.

He has experienced guides and his horses are normally well mannered and well trained. He is a registered quarter horse breeder, so you can understand that this guy is really into his animals; and his expertise with them shows.

We have been using this outfit for a number of years, and over that time his success has hovered around the 95% plus bracket, about as good as can be expected, since bad weather can shut the hunt down. But 90% plus-- is a pretty darn good average for wild lions in rough terrain. And oh what views you will be treated to! You are hunting near the famed Kaibab in some awesome canyon and mountain country with views that will not quit!
He also is a very friendly and helpful guy, and in fact one client of ours who had some tough breaks, said to us that "most any normal outfitter would have thrown me out of camp"- and instead the guide pushed him to hang tough in the deep snow and he killed a nice lion on the last day!  We always appreciate outfitters who show patience and understanding; and who go out of their way to keep our clients happy!

MONGOLIA #41  SEPTEMBER MARAL STAG HUNT-                              SAVE $7000- BEST PRICING IN YEARS!!!
Butch has hunted Maral Stag and taken two in Mongolia on great hunts. He also has taken Ibex as well. We have been successfully sending clients to Mongolia for nearly 20 years. It is a favorite location of Butch's, and has to be considered a MUST DO if you are a hunter who relishes true Adventure!

We love their people and their country, and the hunting, while not easy, is normally successful and within the ability of most reasonably fit hunters. Between the various giant Sheep species; the awesome Ibex species, the Maral Stag (elk to us basically); this is a dream destination and a culture that spawned Genghis Kahn and others.

Our outfitter has JUST advised us they have a few Maral Stag and one Altai Ibex license that remain unsold for this fall, basically for September 2016 hunts.  TIME IS SHORT! They have given us reduced prices for these last minute bookings. Your choice of just the Maral, or a combination of Maral Stag and Ibex. Butch has hunted the combo, and also Ibex by itself.   Visually our US elk look like the Mongolian Marals- because they are the predecessor to our own herds, which came from there over the Asian land bridge! It is a great hunt in the vast  reaches of the wilderness.

MARAL STAG- REGULAR PRICE IS $15,500
NOW ONLY-  $8500 for these few September hunts!!
COMBO- $16,000, 4 day hunt in each area.

The Stag hunt  is a 9 day itinerary from your arrival in Mongolia, with 5 days of hunting. Add 4 days for the combo. Guiding is 1X1, plus you will have an interpreter.

BC #289  MOOSE AND/OR STONE SHEEP- HORSEBACK                     OR WATER BASED ADVENTURES
SAVINGS!!!
BOOK NOW FOR 2017 @ 2016 PRICES!
LIMITED TIME OFFER

If you like the smaller, more family run guiding operations, the kind that cater to hunters first, and numbers of clients second-then you will like this operation. The outfitter has guided in Manitoba, Alberta, the Yukon, the NWT and BC. He now owns this area, and has for about 5 years. He is young BUT VERY, experienced, he is hard charging and he tells it like it is. NO BS! That is everything we like in an outfitter! Add to it an area that produces unusually large moose due to its proximity to the Yukon moose genetics; add to it the very large Stone sheep here, throw in the griz, the goats, the black bears and the Mountain Caribou, and you have the potential for some awesome hunting.

MOOSE:  They offer basically three moose hunts, Early Mountain Horseback; Late Season Horseback and Lake hunts. These Canadian Moose are averaging around 53"- huge for Canadian moose. He is very successful on this hunt- usually around 75-80%.You can combo with Mtn. Caribou, black bear, goat, griz and wolf.

Early Season Mountain Horseback Hunts:
This is a typically a Moose/Grizzly combination hunt, with an option for caribou, black bear or goat.   Fly into a remote mountain lake where your horses and guide will be waiting.  Hunt from a cabin or the lake, or spike out into the mountains.  This is a fun hunt: nice weather, beautiful country, long forgiving days.  But you need to be in good shape - lots of riding, lots of hiking/climbing.

Reference Brent S. says:
"Going back with him for the fourth year in a row in 2016. I have taken 3 moose- all over 50" and into mid 50's. I've seen many more, even on my sheep hunt. He has a huge area around the  River, with part north of the River, part south. The area north of the river is classic moose country, boggy, flat etc. The area south is the sheep area, mountains but also has good moose and also griz."

Mountain horseback hunts:
The frost is on the ground and the moose and caribou are in rut.  We hunt snow covered mountain basins from cabins or spike camps.  This is our most popular hunt: the game is moving, and with horses can you can cover some country.  But you've got to be prepared to ride.  This is rough country, and it's not easy to get around - and that's why the game is there.

Lake Hunts for Moose:
These are typically his least 'physical' hunts.  You will hunt along / near the lake, doing as much (or as little) hiking as you want.  The idea is to call the big bulls to you.    Be prepared for a shot at a wolf or black bear.  Grizzly tags may also be available. It still helps to be in shape if you spot a big one on the mountain side!

MISSOURI #36   AFFORDABLE 5-DAY ARCHERY HUNT
5-days fully guided with meals and lodging just $1400

This Outfitter was new to us in 2015 and has plenty of Big Buck experience. The outfitter himself is a serious trophy hunter who understands the game. He has taken a bow kill of a 215" whitetail, and several other bucks with bow that met the B&C 170" minimum, plus a number of P&Y deer.
This outfit hunts 5,000 acres in central Missouri. We like the fact that he rests his properties  for a full 2 days in between groups of hunters. We have observed many outfitters that seriously over hunt their properties.
If you have been on a guided hunt where there are too many guys in camp and all you saw were a couple small bucks and a few does, then look hard at this guy!!  With only 6 hunters in camp at a time and strictly managed property we expect you to have an awesome hunting experience!

The last two years this outfitter has an average deer score pushing close to 150 inches on mature bucks and he expecting 2015 to be no different. This combined with a very reasonable price and no draw on the tags makes this hunt a potential sleeper in our book.
The Outfitters hunting properties are located in Central Missouri and provides some excellent deer & turkey cover on 5,000 private acres. The grounds are managed and maintained year round for big bucks to ensure the best possible hunting experience. The lodge is an older home- clean, not fancy.
All hunts are 5 day hunts, with the hunters showing up the evening before the first day of the hunt, and leaving mid morning, the day after their last evening hunt. Prices include all 3 daily meals and lodging. There is a $500 charge for any deer shot that scores under 130". They use some discretion, but they do not want smaller bucks taken.

SWITZERLAND BIG GAME ADVENTURES- August 10- December 5
Switzerland is a small country partly in the Alps in central Europe, with typical mountain animals, such as Alpine Ibex and Alpine Chamois. In order to obtain a hunting license in Switzerland is very complicated, so that the procedure has to start at least one year before the hunt (up to January 15th for every year). Foreigners can obtain the license for Ibex and Chamois hunt through a process of bidding. To get the license each hunter has to send, one year before the hunt, two photographs, a copy of a valid passport and USD 4.000 for Alpine Ibex and USD 1.000 for Alpine Chamois that will be revolved in case the license is not obtained.

The hunt is Switzerland is excellently organized, the local guides know very well the whereabouts of the animals and will take the hunter only on specimens that have been previously identified, that are very old and have very large trophies. Each hunter has the right to hunt for two days in the dates decided by the local government. The use of motor vehicles is forbidden and hunting can be done only by stalking.  Lodging and meals are provided in small hotels in areas that are closest to the one for which the license is given.
