COLORADO #141   EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL ELK HUNT
This Colorado outfitter has been running at virtually  95% or better success, for over 20 years!! If you are one of those guys who is tired of paying hard earned money -- and going home with no  horns and no elk meat, this is clearly the hunt for you!! Please note that from Oct 22 on, price is dropped $450!

But success remains at that same high level! All hunts are done of on over 100,000 acres of private Ranch land. With all the ranch roads, these hunts are relatively easy physically. Guiding is 2 hunters per guide. Lodging and good home cooked meals are included!
Here is his success for the past 3 years:
2013 was 96.3%
2014 was 95.1%
2015 was 99.4%
This ranch controls everything from the very top of the mountain, down to the wintering grounds of January. They have carefully managed their grounds for many years, meaning this is elk haven, thus reducing problems. Even poor weather is not a big issue here!  This outfitter stated that regardless of the weather, and the time of year, "unless elk figure out how to fly higher than the top of the mountain, or learn to dig holes below the wintering grounds, they will be somewhere on the ranch!"  With the size and the management system of this ranch, they simply can provide advantages that some of the smaller ranches can't, and this translates into an amazing harvest percentage every year.

RUSSIA #160   KAMCHATKA PENINSULA MOOSE HUNT
This outfitter operates on the Kamchatka Peninsula in a special area where the huge Eastern Siberian moose lives.
A mature trophy bull here will be around 1400 pounds or more and will have an average antler width of 62"-64". The largest to date here has been an amazing 75"! One of our clients took a monster 72" moose on this hunt; then the same client took another in the mid 60's which had truly non-typical horns and was quite a sight to behold.

This area for hundreds of years, had some very difficult mountain passes that prevented the migration of moose into this outfitters area. HOWEVER -in 1978 specialists of the Regional Hunting Department carried out a project transporting 45 young moose to the center of Kamchatka. Most importantly, these moose were brought in from the Chukotsky region, home to the largest moose on the planet. Those formed the genetics for the current moose population here. These moose now live in a milder climate, with less snow, and an abundance of food. The result is that the population for the past 20 years has risen to 2900 animals, including bulls with some huge horns.

Success has averaged 80% and up, but that includes a few who could not walk or whose shooting was less than perfect, or weather interfered, or who wanted a 70" beast and did not get it, or who were just not lucky.
A hunter who is reasonably fit and who can walk several miles or more, and who can shoot accurately - should normally have no problem in getting his trophy moose. But being in good shape is always important, especially if you travel this far. Moose hunts can test you if terrain is boggy or has lots of willows.

You can begin your hunt as early as September 15, when the rut starts. Kamchatka trophy moose respond quite well to calling and it is always very exciting when a monster bull responds to a call. Normally, you should take your trophy within a week.  Their later hunting period, late October and well into November demands you to be in good physical shape. After mating, the bulls are less active. It usually takes 10 days to 2 weeks to find and kill your trophy during this time period. However they may transport you on sleighs behind snowmobiles, and then a stalk on snowshoes is often done. You can cover a lot of ground this way, and our own hunter with the 72" moose hunted this way. Bulls can be found in bachelor groups. They annually take 16-17 bulls on their hundreds of thousands of acres of territory- very low pressure.

Price is $15,000 The client will pay for the hotel in Petroplavosk if needed. Outfitter has made a nice log cabin for two hunters.

The September moose hunt runs from Sept. 15 through 29, 2016. It is possible to also take brown bear and capercalie during this time frame. November hunts run Nov.17th - 27.

SASKATCHEWAN #15  WHITETAIL ADVENTURE $3600
The new owner bought this (2015) from an outfitter that we have done business with for years. Nothing will change, it will still be the same great hunt for quality whitetail deer.  The new owner will continue to run this outfit as a small, family operation with good home-cooked meals with an emphasis on quality over quantity hunting.

The outfitter will have 24 baited deer stands at any given time, but only takes five to six deer hunters per week. This insures that there are plenty of active stands for each group of hunters. They scout (using trail cams) and replenishing the baits while you are hunting. If you're not seeing game, the outfitter will move you to an active, hot stand.  Very low hunting pressure combined with plenty of agriculture in the area means there's all the ingredients to produce big animals.

This outfitter's hunts are very reasonably priced at $3,600.  You'll find that most quality SK hunts are much more, but you're not likely to find any better. This outfitter really wants hunters to be able to hunt for a modest sum. They have told us that. Your package includes your license and the Canadian GST (goods and service tax). This is one of the best deals in Saskatchewan! The outfitter will field dress and skin your game for you. Monster bucks in the 170- to 180-inch range are taken every year.  The kill rate typically averages in the 75% range, but about 70% of their business is return customers looking for Mr. Big so some guys choose go home empty handed holding out for a true giant. Bucks in the 135- to 155-inch class are average and a few lucky hunters will tag much larger bucks. Warm weather will retard deer movement, but expect cold temperatures, deer on the move and big bucks.
The camp is a modern log lodge where meals and bull sessions take place. The outfitter hunts Zones 49 and 59 located northeast of Saskatoon, not far from the Manitoba border and the famed Carrot River. This area differs from far northern Saskatchewan, because here you are on the fringe of the boreal forest, with plenty of agriculture around, providing great deer and bear habitat and hunting. This is about the only area in Saskatchewan where Americans can hunt near agriculture!  About 1200 acres is their own private ground, managed for deer and agriculture; while the rest (16,000 acres) is crown land for their exclusive hunting concession. This is a plus as the private agricultural ground helps attract and hold deer, bear and waterfowl all year round.
Hunts start around Nov 1 and run into first week of December covering the entire rutting period.

MANITOBA #226  NUNAVUT CARIBOU HUNT- 2 TAGS
This friendly and hard working outfitters is normally at or very close to 100%, and this is one of the very few caribou hunts that still allow two trophy bulls!!

The outfitter has 2 camps separated by about 60 miles.  It sits 30 miles north of the 60th parallel, which is the longitudinal line that separates Manitoba from Nunavut.  This amazing hunting camp essentially puts you in the best possible location to hunt huge Trophy Caribou Bulls that are making their way south to their wintering grounds. You basically have the first opportunity at hunting these Caribou before any other outfitter or hunter has further south.

Lodging: The buildings are Weatherhaven structures, which are the Cadillac of all tent structures and are also the first choice of the U.S. military, mining companies, and commercial wilderness operators world-wide. They are fully insulated and have thermostatically controlled propane heat for your comfort. This is about as good as it gets in this part of the country.

Guides will take their hunters by boat from one area to the next in search of trophy bulls. From time to time, your guide will beach the boat and take a short hike onto higher ground to glass miles of tundra for caribou. The rolling tundra is not hard to negotiate, and combined with the use of boats, allows us to tailor a hunt to an individual's preferences or physical ability.

All Caribou Hunts Are 7 Days In Length (5 Full Days Of Hunting)
Price Per Hunt - $8995.00 (Includes All Charter Flights)
 2 Tags Available Per Hunter

Caribou License's - 480.00 Per License, Includes All Licenses And Trophy Fees Along With Export Permits.
After you have successfully harvested your caribou, the outfitter transports everything to their taxidermist for finishing or shipping to your home.

MISSOURI #36   AFFORDABLE 5-DAY ARCHERY HUNT
5-days fully guided with meals and lodging just $1400

This Outfitter was new to us in 2015 and has plenty of Big Buck experience. The outfitter himself is a serious trophy hunter who understands the game. He has taken a bow kill of a 215" whitetail, and several other bucks with bow that met the B&C 170" minimum, plus a number of P&Y deer.
This outfit hunts 5,000 acres in central Missouri. We like the fact that he rests his properties  for a full 2 days in between groups of hunters. We have observed many outfitters that seriously over hunt their properties.

For example, Illinois has many such problems due to the exorbitant lease prices that the outfitters are forced to pay. High lease prices per acre force outfitters to increase hunter numbers. If you have been on a guided hunt where there are too many guys in camp and all you saw were a couple small bucks and a few does, then look hard at this guy!!  With only 6 hunters in camp at a time and strictly managed property we expect you to have an awesome hunting experience!

The last two years this outfitter has an average deer score pushing close to 150 inches on mature bucks and he expecting 2015 to be no different. This combined with a very reasonable price and no draw on the tags makes this hunt a potential sleeper in our book.
The Outfitters hunting properties are located in Central Missouri and provides some excellent deer & turkey cover on 5,000 private acres. The grounds are managed and maintained year round for big bucks to ensure the best possible hunting experience. The lodge is an older home- clean, not fancy.

All hunts are 5 day hunts, with the hunters showing up the evening before the first day of the hunt, and leaving mid morning, the day after their last evening hunt. Prices include all 3 daily meals and lodging. There is a $500 charge for any deer shot that scores under 130". They use some discretion, but they do not want smaller bucks taken.

2016 Fall & Winter Deer Hunts: (arrive after 1pm day before hunt)
Archery:  October 3rd-7th, October 24th - 28th or
October 31st-Nov 4th  -$1400
