MANITOBA #226 HOSTED NUNAVUT CARIBOU HUNT
|
We are truly excited to offer you a chance to do this trip as a hosted hunt with our very own Brian Stecklein- dates are August 29 to September 4, 2016. Or pick your own dates- but if you go with Brian-- he is there to co-ordinate and insure everything goes well! And now we have gotten the outfitter to pay the $480 for your first caribou tag! Our exclusive deal for you!!
This friendly and hard working outfitters is normally at or very close to 100%, and this is one of the very few caribou hunts that still allow two trophy bulls!!
The outfitter has 2 camps separated by about 60 miles. It sits 30 miles north of the 60th parallel, which is the longitudinal line that separates Manitoba from Nunavut.
This amazing hunting camp essentially puts you in the best possible location to hunt huge Trophy Caribou Bulls that are making their way south to their wintering grounds. You basically have the first opportunity at hunting these Caribou before any other outfitter or hunter has further south.
Lodging: The buildings are Weatherhaven structures, which are the Cadillac of all tent structures and are also the first choice of the U.S. military, mining companies, and commercial wilderness operators world-wide. They are fully insulated and have thermostatically controlled propane heat for your comfort. This is about as good as it gets in this part of the country.
Guides will take their hunters by boat from one area to the next in search of trophy bulls. From time to time, your guide will beach the boat and take a short hike onto higher ground to glass miles of tundra for caribou.
The rolling tundra is not hard to negotiate, and combined with the use of boats, allows us to tailor a hunt to an individual's preferences or physical ability.
All Caribou Hunts Are 7 Days In Length (5 Full Days Of Hunting)
Price Per Hunt - $8995.00 (Includes All Charter Flights)
2 Tags Available Per Hunter
Hosted Hunt Dates- August 29th- September 4th, 2016.

ALASKA #140 HUNT GIANT FALL BLACK BEAR VIA BOAT
|
SPRING AND FALL BEAR HUNTS
Experience some of the finest hunting available on Prince of Wales Island (Unit 2) and Misty Fjords area (Unit 1) -- for Trophy Coastal Black Bears.
This is a spot and stalk hunt which takes place by boat in the bays and inlets of Southeast Alaska. Butch and Joan have been to POW many times, with Joan taking a 7'2" bear- good but not super for this island! Bears are plentiful. Scenery awesome. POW bears can grow 19" skulls in 6-7 years, while mainland bears require twice that to reach those sizes. This outfit hunts from a custom built 31' aluminum boat. It has comfortable bunks for two people as well as a nice galley. Meals can vary from fresh caught shrimp to fresh Dungeness crab, to beef steaks and more. You will eat well. He trails along a skiff or two, so when bears are seen you can approach them; also you may hunt from the skiffs as they probe the back coves and inlets. Normally opportunity is 100% and kill rates close to that. But a wounded bear by law means your tag is filled and you are done. Many of his bears will push 7 feet and some larger!
5 Day Black Bear Guided Hunts - $5,800 2X1 Alaska Hunting License $85 Black Bear Tag $225 You do not need to draw!! Outfitter can purchase your tag over the counter!! One bear only!
Fall means wading up the streams in your chest high waders, so it is a bit more strenuous- but bears may end up in your lap and it is a great situation for any bow hunters as well as rifle hunters. The fall of (2012) saw one bow hunter take his big blackie at 15 feet; while his buddy with a gun took his at 25 yards! Includes: Complete guide service, lodging, airport transfers, meals while in the field, trophy & meat care. Hunters fly into Ketchikan for Outfitter pick up.

NEWFOUNDLAND #148 FLY-IN CARIBOU/MOOSE/BEAR
|
This is an outstanding, reliable, highly successful and honest outfitter in Newfoundland. We are very familiar with a number of rip-off artists in this wonderful province. Some of them are almost legendary. We can think of numerous "don't go there" outfitters in Newfoundland, some who are featured regularly on the outdoor shows and in the hunting magazines. You must be cautious.
This outfitter has a total of three lodges, his own planes and takes a maximum of four hunters at any one lodge. This means relatively low hunting pressure and your chances for success are extremely high. The outfitter's clients average 100% on caribou and well over 80-85% on moose. The terrain is a mix of wooded ridges, river valleys and marshy areas at low altitude. Most moose will be in the 34- to 45-inch range and a few larger. The outfitter claims to puts more trophy moose into the hands of taxidermists than any other outfitter in Newfoundland.
You will be hunting within either an ecological reserve or a wildlife reserve where there will be no other hunters in the field other than those at camp. This means basically three things; there are more animals, trophies are bigger and the setting awe- inspiring. Each year they have a high percentage of trophy moose, trophy caribou and trophy bear taken. They only offer top end one-on-one guided fly-in hunts. You won't find a better hunt and you won't find a better rate for a hunt of this quality. This is basically the top end fly-in hunt at the cost of a roadside hunt. No pickups, no devastation from clear cutting of the forest and no local hunters to compete with.
2016 Rates -- Licenses and Taxes Included! Fly-in included!

Moose/Bear - $7550
