RUSSIA #160   KAMCHATKA PENINSULA MOOSE HUNT
This outfitter operates on the Kamchatka Peninsula in a special area where the huge Eastern Siberian moose lives.
A mature trophy bull here will be around 1400 pounds or more and will have an average antler width of 62"-64". The largest to date here has been an amazing 75"! One of our clients took a monster 72" moose on this hunt; then the same client took another in the mid 60's which had truly non-typical horns and was quite a sight to behold.

This area for hundreds of years, had some very difficult mountain passes that prevented the migration of moose into this outfitters area. HOWEVER -in 1978 specialists of the Regional Hunting Department carried out a project transporting 45 young moose to the center of Kamchatka. Most importantly, these moose were brought in from the Chukotsky region, home to the largest moose on the planet. Those formed the genetics for the current moose population here. These moose now live in a milder climate, with less snow, and an abundance of food. The result is that the population for the past 20 years has risen to 2900 animals, including bulls with some huge horns.

Success has averaged 80% and up, but that includes a few who could not walk or whose shooting was less than perfect, or weather interfered, or who wanted a 70" beast and did not get it, or who were just not lucky.
A hunter who is reasonably fit and who can walk several miles or more, and who can shoot accurately - should normally have no problem in getting his trophy moose. But being in good shape is always important, especially if you travel this far. Moose hunts can test you if terrain is boggy or has lots of willows.

You can begin your hunt as early as September 15, when the rut starts. Kamchatka trophy moose respond quite well to calling and it is always very exciting when a monster bull responds to a call. Normally, you should take your trophy within a week.  Their later hunting period, late October and well into November demands you to be in good physical shape. After mating, the bulls are less active. It usually takes 10 days to 2 weeks to find and kill your trophy during this time period. However they may transport you on sleighs behind snowmobiles, and then a stalk on snowshoes is often done. You can cover a lot of ground this way, and our own hunter with the 72" moose hunted this way. Bulls can be found in bachelor groups. They annually take 16-17 bulls on their hundreds of thousands of acres of territory- very low pressure.

Price is $15,000 The client will pay for the hotel in Petroplavosk if needed. Outfitter has made a nice log cabin for two hunters.

The September moose hunt runs from Sept. 15 through 29, 2016. It is possible to also take brown bear and capercalie  this time frame. November hunts run Nov.17th - 27.

MANITOBA #226  HOSTED NUNAVUT CARIBOU HUNT
This friendly and hard working outfitters is normally at or very close to 100%, and this is one of the very few caribou hunts that still allow two trophy bulls!!

The outfitter has 2 camps separated by about 60 miles.  It sits 30 miles north of the 60th parallel, which is the longitudinal line that separates Manitoba from Nunavut.  This amazing hunting camp essentially puts you in the best possible location to hunt huge Trophy Caribou Bulls that are making their way south to their wintering grounds. You basically have the first opportunity at hunting these Caribou before any other outfitter or hunter has further south.

Lodging: The buildings are Weatherhaven structures, which are the Cadillac of all tent structures and are also the first choice of the U.S. military, mining companies, and commercial wilderness operators world-wide. They are fully insulated and have thermostatically controlled propane heat for your comfort. This is about as good as it gets in this part of the country.

Guides will take their hunters by boat from one area to the next in search of trophy bulls. From time to time, your guide will beach the boat and take a short hike onto higher ground to glass miles of tundra for caribou. The rolling tundra is not hard to negotiate, and combined with the use of boats, allows us to tailor a hunt to an individual's preferences or physical ability.

All Caribou Hunts Are 7 Days In Length (5 Full Days Of Hunting)
Price Per Hunt - $8995.00 (Includes All Charter Flights)
 2 Tags Available Per Hunter
Hosted Hunt Dates- August 29th- September 4th, 2016.

BC #151    HUNT MOOSE, GOAT & CARIBOU
This a small-volume outfitter that specializes in quality, personalized service and big-time adventure.  He takes 13-16 clients per year.

The outfitter guides in a remote area situated in northern British Columbia at the headwaters of the famous Skeena River on the border of Spatsizi Wilderness Park. This area has a burgeoning moose population and is home to world-class grizzly bears.  The area also has exceptional populations of mountain goat, Mountain caribou and black bear. Historically, this area has been lightly hunted due to its remote location accessed by a 200-mile flight north of Smithers, British Columbia.

This area is approximately 1,200 sq. miles in size. There are some Stone sheep, but success on sheep is only about 25-30%.  The outfitter's main camp consists of log and frame cabins. This is the starting point for most hunts. From there you may go to spike camps in various locations consisting of wall tents.
The outfitter also uses boats out of the main camp for moose hunts. The outfitter also has some small remote lakes where they conduct backpack hunts out of.
Most hunts are 10 days and consist of single or multiple species (longer trips can be arranged upon request).

AUSTRALIA #155  GIANT WATER BUFFALO & AXIS DEER
Special pricing for Hunt Nation clients - Request complete writeup, pricing and options clearly defined.

Everyone is fascinated by the country of Australia. Its kangaroos, dingos, camels and other odd ball critters, its vast spaces, the remoteness and its culture, all seem to pull at us. With seasons reversed to ours, it is time right now to get serious about hunting this wonderful continent and experiencing what it offers. Best months are May through August, with July being excellent.

The variety of game to be seen and hunted on this remote 350,000 acre Station is top notch. Superb free range Water Buffalo and Banteng and wild cattle, fishing, and a great selection of deer and other species including:
SAMBAR DEER, JAVAN RUSA DEER, NORTH ISLAND or MOLACAN RUSA DEER, AXIS DEER, HOGDEER,  BLACKBUCK ANTELOPE, SCRUB BULLS, TROPHY WILD BOAR, NON TROPHY FERAL PIGS, and DINGO.
Here is a quote from a recent hunter who took Buffalo on this great place-
"Lots of quality animals. Excellent buffalo. I saw at least 7 buffalo larger than the 115 and 106 I shot.  Takes 20 hunters per year. Not much pressure on 350,000 acres."

It is very important to note that a legal Banteng hunt is hard to find, and this is one that is in fact, legal. There are only a couple of legal places where you can shoot banteng! This operation has both free range and estate hunts for them. It is also important to note that this operation also offers you a chance to take cull buffalo at a very reasonable rate, so you can easily due a multi-buffalo hunt  without braking the bank!

This Australian Outfitter has almost 30 years' experience and has put dozens of Buffalo bulls into the SCI record book. He has access to huge hunting areas including both the Aboriginal owned Arnheim Land and his own private lands. The area is largely uninhabited and sits at the top of Australia. It has huge tidal rivers, estuaries, many coastal islands and vast flood plains. These create a home for the huge Buffalo, Boar and Banteng. Since these Buffalo have no respect for fences, and with the whole ranch therefore containing free ranging Buffs one can expect at all times during these hunts to have Trophy Bulls both in and outside the cattle fences.

Huge areas and distance are covered in a day's hunting and you can expect to see 20-30 Trophy Bulls per day. Hunting is by 4WD to locate trophies, than you stalk and hunt on foot.

SASKATCHEWAN #180  AWESOME DUCK/GOOSE HUNT
The most important component of a good waterfowl hunt is spotting, which is why this outfitter uses an intensive spotting program as the backbone of his success. He spends many hours spotting each day and log thousands of miles every week to ensure that you are hunting the best possible fields in the days to come.

While you are in the field hunting with your guide, the other guide is on the road spotting for your next hunt. He also has people in other parts of the area spotting, to ensure that our hunters are where they need to be for the best waterfowling action available. Once the spotting is done and the best shoot has been found, your guides rely on their vast waterfowl hunting experiences to devise the best method (decoy numbers, decoy patterns, hunter placement, etc.) to pursue the birds. Combine this with a collection of thousands of top quality goose and duck decoys for different situations, an unbelievable waterfowl population, and you have what it takes to experience the best that waterfowl hunting has to offer.

Most goose hunting is done in harvested grain fields. Geese that are abundant in the area are greater and lesser Canadas, White fronts (Speckle bellies), Snows, Blues, and Ross geese. This offers clients some real variety and the chance to pursue what they prefer. Dark geese are usually hunted using full-body Bigfoot decoys from layout blinds or inclined backboards using ghillie blankets for cover. This provides good up-close viewing and shooting access as well as safety for the hunters. White geese are usually hunted using 500+ windsock type decoys and an electronic call with the hunters wearing white suits and laying on inclined backboards amongst the decoys or from backboards with ghillie blankets.

Duck hunting usually involves an evening field shoot over decoys for big Northern Mallards with the help of spinning wing decoys. Mallards and Pintails are also commonly taken over the goose decoys during the morning goose hunt as they come out to feed. Many hunters leave here with memories of a "duck tornado" like they have never imagined. He very seldom hunt ducks over water as this is their safe haven which is imperative to keeping them in our hunting area. The area consists of over 10,000 square miles of lakes, river valleys, marshes, potholes, and grain fields providing excellent habitat for waterfowl.
