VANCOUVER #291 BLACK BEAR & ROOSEVELT ELK
|
First, be aware that we have negotiated truly SPECIAL and EXCLUSIVE pricing for these Vancouver Island Bear hunts- probably a good thousand dollars below the competition!
A few years back, SCI determined, after research by various people, that black bears on Vancouver Island (and also those found on Prince of Wales Island)- were of a slightly different genetic makeup from other blackies. Since they are consistently larger, they created a new classification called "Island Bear". Many of these bears are large and ancient old bruins with lots of age and some huge heads. The most productive time period is afternoons.
Hunts are typically done by ATV and 4WD vehicles, then hunters walking the old abandoned roads and glassing clear cuts. You look for fresh droppings, broken trees (a sign of dominance) and of course bears. The bears often forage on and along the old logging roads, making for interesting walking! Once a big bruin is located, then a stalk can be done, and getting close is generally not terribly difficult.
Stay in a truly upscale lodge and enjoy chef cooked meals such as Prime Rib, Steak and more.
WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNTED PRICING ON THE BEAR HUNTS FOR OUR CLIENTS! SAVE $1000!
BEAR: Rifle or bow- April 15 to June 15. 1x1 guiding. (5 day hunts, Mon thru Friday.) ONLY $6,900 plus licenses, tags and gov't fees (about $700). Canadian GST will be absorbed by the outfitter for our clients! BEST DEAL ON VANCOUVER ISLAND! Second bear is $4500.
ROOSEVELT ELK HUNTS- Hunt truly giant elk- bulls that can exceed 1000 pounds and can sport some very massive antlers. Vancouver Island is believed to have the purest strain of Roosevelt elk in North America. These elk are true giants- the largest bodied elk in North America.
Hunting is normally done much like the bear hunts. You will hunting using 4WD's and ATV's, and by glassing old and new clear cuts or following up on bugles.
10 Day ARCHERY ELK- SEPT. 1X1 guiding. $29,950. An awesome hunt for truly big bulls. 10 Day RIFLE - October. 1X1 $33,750. NOTE: This guide territory has been very lightly hunted!

TEXAS #131 AWARD WINNING EXOTICS RANCH
|
Our clients like the incredibly wide range of exotic animals found here. From African game to Arabian game, to Asian game and more. You will see many species that you might never see otherwise. It makes for an extremely interesting hunt.
Here's some things we like about this operation: No hidden fees; no daily guide rates; and no pay if you do not kill! Those three things are important!! And finally we can get you package pricing on a multi-specie package.
You can hunt with a handgun, bow, crossbow, muzzleloader or rifle. Bow hunting or handgun hunting is particularly challenging. If you want some meat, we highly recommend the Axis deer and the Fallow deer, including the reasonably priced does for both species- superb meat. This is a great opportunity to introduce someone to hunting, especially a youngsters, wife or grandchild. The friendly family-like atmosphere adds to the experience. This is a truly great place to send corporate employees for an outing.

ALBERTA #143 DISCOUNTED BLACK BEAR HUNT
|
This Baited bear hunt is situated in WMU 536. This WMU offers a 2-bear license & is a baiting zone which allows a hunter to be selective on harvest.
This area is heavily wooded with large tracks of forests and no agriculture for many miles. Mixed spruce, aspen, pine, willows and alder make up the forest cover. Lakes and creeks cut through the country as well as muskeg swamps. Camp is located approximately 300 miles north of our Peace River (McLennan) Camp. The topography is fairly flat with some rolling hills near the lakes and rivers. Oil company activity in the region has allowed the opportunity to explore this dense land.
This bush camp is as comfortable as any considering the remoteness. Sleeping tents have wooden frames, wood heaters and cots with two hunters per tent. The camp consists of canvas tents, with a large tent for the cooking and dining area. The cook tent also has a wooden frame and floor. A cook is on staff full time to prepare meals. Specializing in home-style cooking including freshly prepared entrees, soups & sandwiches, home made deserts, cookies and pies. The goal is to create meals that will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.
Camp has a generator to power lights, charge batteries, etc. Also boasts a shower house which has a hot water tank and a small pressure system with hot and cold running water. A hot shower can be very refreshing after a hard day of black bear hunting.

IDAHO #103 COW ELK HUNT- FILL YOUR FREEZER
|
Every time we run one of these cow elk hunts they sell out in just a few hours.
If you have been looking for an opportunity to fill you freezer with some tender elk steak, this is one of the best.
This outfitter has one of the largest land holdings through leases in the state of Idaho; in total over 60,000 acres. These ranches are located in the Hell's Canyon area, near the famous and picturesque Salmon and Snake Rivers. Access into these ranches is strictly controlled. The ranches are accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles, providing easier access to productive hunting areas. These leases have been in place for over 20 years.
Licenses is by application due in before June 5 and the outfitter will apply you. The draw is 100% success, as is the hunting. Shot opportunity is 100%. Your going to see elk, and if you can shoot out to 300 yards you will be taking home an elk.
Hunt price is $1800, includes meals, lodging, 2X1 guiding, and field care of game. Dates 10/14-18, 10/18-22, and 10/30-11/3.
You can add a Whitetail Deer to this hunt for an additional $1000. It would be a secondary animal, hunted if opportunity presents itself. After the elk is harvested you would hunt the deer semi-guided. They will get you to stand area, and pick you up, assist with retrieval, and field care. Estimated success would be 40 to 50% on 120" to 140" deer. These whitetail hunts generally sell for $3700, so a great deal, and a way to add a little more meat to the freezer.
