MONTANA #111  WHITETAILS AND MULIES W/RIFLE
This outfitter offers exceptional thick-beamed whitetails and gray-muzzled mule deer. The outfitter hunts approximately 175,000 acres. As you can see from the pictures, his clients take some impressive mule deer and whitetails. The outfitter has a number of ranches to hunt.  Whitetails commonly are in the 130- to 155-inch class, which are trophy deer! The outfitter's clients routinely takes mule deer  in the 155 to 175-inch class. Hunters can expect to see at least two dozen bucks in the course of your hunt and many times you can see that many in a single day! Success on deer borders on 90 to 100% on his rifle hunts.

Rifle Mule Deer
Mule Deer hunts take place on very large private ranches. The terrain varies from dry, rolling grasslands up to rough canyons with cuts and pockets of brush and trees. There are also open fields of grain and meadows of hay that lead up to patchy and heavy pine and cedar trees providing cover for the deer . On this hunt, you will often see 20 to 50 deer daily. Success rate is over 95% with the outside spread on the antlers between 20-28 inches with 20-25 being about average.

Rifle Whitetail
Their Whitetail deer hunts take place on some of Eastern Montana's finest whitetail country. The land is characterized by river bottoms with large hay and grain fields leading up to dry, rough, rolling grasslands with broken patches of trees and brush spread throughout the hills. They hunt a variety of different rivers, including the Yellowstone River, Milk River, Tongue River, Powder River, Missouri River, Little Missouri River and Musselshell River. The best time to hunt big bucks is during the November rut. They typically use binoculars to locate your buck and then stalk to within range or else jump the deer from a bedded area. Success is high for bucks with 16-22 inch outside spreads, scoring 125-155 B&C. And you normally see a lot - a lot- of deer!

ZIMBABWE #88  CAPE BUFFALO BLOWOUT SPECIAL
This PH is one of the best in Zimbabwe for dangerous game, and his pricing is very fair. He is a wonderfully experienced guy with many hundreds of elephant and buffalo kills to his credit, plus hundreds of species of dangerous game, all taken over a long and successful career as a PH. We got acquainted with him years ago, because another PH hired him to guide some of our clients. Our clients loved him, and told him to get in direct contact with us, which he did. Since then our  clients have praised his abilities. We are delighted to represent such a capable PH!

Here is what Steve W., one of our long time clients had to say:
"Butch: Thank you so much for setting up my Zimbabwe safari. The PH I had was fantastic - perhaps the best I ever had on a dangerous game hunt. I want to hunt with him again next year, for elephant and maybe some plains game. Please arrange a PAC elephant hunt for me for April 2011!"
(Footnote from Butch: Steve went back on May 10 & took his bull- dropping him at 8 paces in a charge!)

The very next client ( Mark D.) that we had over with this same PH, also reiterated Steve's words, and he too immediately booked  a return safari! (Footnote again: BMOA just received notification today that on his return hunt, Mark took an elephant that should go 80 pounds - Nice followup, Mark!!). SECOND UPDATE: Mark called a second time- and had taken his leopard in just 3 hours in the blind! Butch told him he is ruining the curve!

Plains game can be added at reasonable prices.

BC #151   LIMITED OPENINGS- MOOSE, GOAT, GRIZZLY                      & CARIBOU
This a small-volume outfitter that specializes in quality, personalized service and big-time adventure.  He takes 13-16 clients per year.

He has been hunting, fishing and trapping in northern British Columbia for over 25 years and takes tremendous pride in being able to offer you a high-quality guide service. The outfitter is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the operation. With the small number of clients the outfitter accommodates each year, chances are good he'll be there to personally greet you when you arrive for your once-in-a-lifetime hunting adventure.
The outfitter guides in a remote area situated in northern British Columbia at the headwaters of the famous Skeena River on the border of Spatsizi Wilderness Park. This area has a burgeoning moose population and is home to world-class grizzly bears.  The area also has exceptional populations of mountain goat, Mountain caribou and black bear. Historically, this area has been lightly hunted due to its remote location accessed by a 200-mile flight north of Smithers, British Columbia.
This area is approximately 1,200 sq. miles in size. The hunting area takes place in the drainages of the Skeena, Klappan, Spatsizi, and Stikine rivers. There are some Stone sheep, but success on sheep is only about 25-30%.
The outfitter's main camp consists of log and frame cabins. This is the starting point for most hunts. From there you may go to spike camps in various locations consisting of wall tents.

The outfitter also uses boats out of the main camp for moose hunts. The outfitter also has some small remote lakes where they conduct backpack hunts out of. Most hunts are 10 days and consist of single or multiple species (longer trips can be arranged upon request).

ALBERTA #161 BOW ONLY- HUGE WHITETAILS/MULIES
Rare opportunity to hunt Edmonton Bow only Zone known for huge Whitetail Deer or chase Mule Deer near Medicine Hat along the Saskatchewan River.

We don't get many openings with this top outfitter so call now before the opportunity is gone.

Whitetail Info:
Fully guided Archery Whitetail hunt takes place in the Edmonton's  bow only area which is never open to rifle hunting. As a result, hunting is for the world's largest farmland whitetails which offer the archer an excellent chance for success. Many bucks grossing more than 125 inches inhabit the area as well as some bucks scoring in excess of 170 points. The average weight of mature bucks is 230 lbs. with the largest in excess of 300 lbs.  Alberta has very little residential bowhunting pressure as there are only 16,000 bowhunters province wide.
Typically during a six-day hunt, 30 to 60 deer are sighted per hunter.

The outfitter boasts an annual trophy buck opportunity of 130%. Although he offers no guarantees he does promise to make a 100% effort to make your hunt as enjoyable and successful as possible.
Bowhunting for Alberta trophy whitetails is not easy. Success usually depends on the individual hunter's dedication and effort. Good preparation and hard work are essential for successful hunts.

His fully guided hunts include guiding, accommodations, meals, transportation to and from the hunting area, as well as preparation of game (excluding butchering) for exporting. IOWA #60     GIANT WHITETAILS EVERY YEAR
This outfitter takes only a few guys every year- and he is expensive- but he takes some 200 class whitetails!! Importantly, he spends a ton of money on supplemental protein feeding from Jan to Sept.

This outfitter knows that Iowa is one of the top destinations in North America for trophy whitetail deer hunting. His hunts have produced a number of Boone & Crockett Whitetail Deer. He hunts SW Iowa and he also hunts northwestern Missouri. And for 2016 he has added Kansas! Missouri has a hunt with an over the counter tag. Missouri is very good, but Iowa produces the better deer-usually! But this bordering area of Missouri is no slouch. And its virtually next door- you use the same facilities. A two state hunt may be possible. And Kansas is not terribly difficult to draw either and is a record breaker every year.

One of the largest reasons for this outfitters success is due to the careful game management of the properties and the size restrictions of deer (140" minimum in Iowa) he allows to be taken each season on our properties.  He usually likes to keep groups around 6  for bow and 8 to 10 for gun. Getting an Iowa tag is a process, which he will assist you with. Getting this tag is the first step to the hunt.
He puts many hours of hard work into food plots, stand placement, clearing shooting lanes and scouting each year. This hunt is customized for the hunter  looking to take a buck scoring 140 or larger. In the last few years their largest deer scored 216 B&C with many bucks seen that would have scored over 170 B&C. In the last 6 or 7 years, they have taken 5 bucks that have grossed over 200 Boone & Crockett.

Iowa Whitetail bow hunts are run during the heart of the whitetail rut. We prefer to hunt groups pre-rut and post-rut. During Pre-rut there is a lot of activity and the bucks respond well to rattling and grunting.

QUEBEC REDUCES CARIBOU LIMIT- TAKE NOTICE!!

If you have a caribou hunt booked for 2016 or later, be aware of a new regulation change just now implemented! The Quebec Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks has announced that for the 2016-2017 hunting season, hunters will be allowed to take one caribou per hunting license. While you may purchase two licenses, your second caribou cannot exceed 40 cm (15.75 inches), meaning a cow or a spike bull. You may want to buy a single license, unless you want the second 'bou for meat.
