Over the last 17 years, this outfitter has amassed a remarkable harvest rate of 94.8% on branch-antlered bull elk.  His 2015 season was no different 147 harvested elk for 149 hunters, and one that didn't fill only hunter one day.

This highly successful outfitter hunts on private ranches northwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The elk herd in this area is reported to be 22,000 head. Most bull elk here will be good 5x 5's and  6x 6's, with some exceptional elk in the 320-inch class and above are harvested every season.  Due to the outfitter's commitment to wildlife management and complete control of the property borders and boundaries, there is an amazing number of trophy elk available to the outfitter and his clients.

WY #188  EXCEPTIONAL WHITETAIL HUNTING
Limited Rifle Stand Hunt Dates Available - Oct 21st - 25th &
Nov 2nd -6th

This outfitter is normally full on his mule deer and spot and stalk whitetail hunts but we try to concentrate on his whitetail stand hunts- which are under hunted and which offer great opportunity at more reasonable prices than his spot and stalk hunts.

His ranches for Whitetails are in Northeast Wyoming.  He leases about two dozen ranches comprising over 250,000 acres, and strictly manages the properties for quality bucks and high game numbers. He has focused on quality deer management (QDM) for years, and has consistently improved the age and trophy quality of harvested game. Although closely managed, the game is all free ranging.  He generally produces at or close to a 100 percent harvest! However, his focus is less on pulling the trigger, and more on producing outstanding trophies and truly mature bucks.
Hunters regularly see hundreds of deer on a hunt, sometimes that many in a single field in a single evening!! You will see more deer here than most guys see in years on their home turf! Simply put, the whitetail deer numbers in this area are astounding! The average whitetail scores either side of 140 with plenty reaching 150 and bucks over 160 are normally  taken every year! His best ever exceeded 190! That was a bow kill.

Their largest whitetail bucks in recent years: 2008 - 170" archery and 165" rifle; 2007 - 193" archery and 160" rifle; 2006 - 164" archery and 162" rifle; 2005 - 165" archery and 168" rifle. NOT too shabby! And success on these hunts is typically right around 100%.  You can spend much more going to Canada, and not do any better then these reasonably priced hunts. And in our home state of Wyoming you will see normally lots of deer daily!

Rifle hunting for whitetails begins October 15 and runs through the month of November.  Lots of scouting and the predictability of the pre-rut whitetail feeding routines insures great success at this time of year.

Hunts are 5 days- archery is also done with great success in both Sept and November- with some monsters being taken-You will hunt from tree stands, ladder stands and ground blinds over previously scouted active feed and travel areas.
HINTS: On these whitetail hunts --success is very high if  you can shoot out to 250 yards! Bring good shooting sticks or a bi-pod (Wyoming is windy!)- and good binocs!

BC #151   GOATS, CARIBOU, GRIZZLY & MOOSE
We have worked for many years with this outfitter, almost from his very beginnings. He is a small-volume outfitter that specializes in quality, personalized service and big-time adventure.  He takes 13-16 clients per year.

He has been hunting, fishing and trapping in northern British Columbia for over 25 years and takes tremendous pride in being able to offer you a high-quality guide service. The outfitter is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the operation. With the small number of clients the outfitter accommodates each year, chances are good he'll be there to personally greet you when you arrive for your once-in-a-lifetime hunting adventure.
This outfitter has had years when he's averaged over 85% on moose with an amazing average spread of 51-inches. However we prefer to be conservative and intentionally understate, so your expectations remain reasonable. Our clients hunting here have taken bulls in the high 30" range to one over 60". Incredible for Canadian moose.

His goat hunts have been incredibly successful for our clients. Probably around 95%. Goats here are normally  silky-haired goats  that average around 9 inches. The outfitter offers two types of hunts. One is from a base camp, while the other is a backpack hunt. Hunters will be required to carry a 35-pound pack; or sometimes he can arrange for a packer to carry some of your load. The outfitter will work with you in terms of deciding where and how to hunt, based on your physical ability. The outfitter hunts some pretty easy goat country and some extremely tough country and the same goes for other critters.

WY #263  AFFORDABLE ANTELOPE HUNT 100% DRAW
Affordable Antelope Hunt with 2 different price options and 100% draw on tags. Openings fill up quickly each year so call now for dates and availability.

This outfitter typically has a 100% success rate on his Wyoming antelope hunts.  He  hunts the largest pronghorn antelope herd in the United States, the Pumpkin Butte Antelope Herd. You will literally see hundreds of antelope every day. These antelope roam the open prairie and use their eye sight to detect danger creating a unique challenge to hunters.

Distance in this vast country can be deceiving. Be sure to practice long range shots and bring your best range finder.  Outfitter prefers to get our clients within 200 yards for an ethical harvest but this is not always the case. These bucks average 14 inches with some going as long as 16 inches.

Wyoming is one of the best states for archery antelope hunting. Most of these antelope hunts are conducted over a waterhole with the use of a ground blind or tree stand.

Antelope hunts have risen in price over the years but this outfitter still offers a great guided hunt at an affordable price.

CO #8  LAST MINUTE ELK HUNT OPPORTUNITY
LAST MINUTE TROPHY ELK HUNTING OPPORTUNITY!!
THIS OUTFITTER JUST AQUIRED A VOUCHER FOR COLORADO GMU #20. DATES JANUARY 15-20, 2016
IF YOU CAN TRAVEL LIGHT AND FAST, DON'T LET THIS ONE GET AWAY!

$5,000 + $1,500/voucher, plus $1,000 trophy fee when harvest.
This outfitter is based in north-central Colorado. For many years he has been producing some of the best trophies in the state. The outfitter regularly places his trophies in the top 3 slots of the Colorado Outfitters Association Best Species Contest.

In the Elk Category in one year, the outfitter took first place with a 399 5/8-inch B & C bull taken with a rifle. The outfitter also took second place (361-inch B & C) and third place (331 4/8-inch BC). All three top slots for elk! In the muzzleloader elk division, the outfitter again took first (334 1/8-inch B & C) and also second (315 5/8-inch B & C) places.

Game Management Unit 20, borders Rocky Mountain National Park on the east side. The outfitter and a partner have locked up a number of large private ranches in the area and they have secured permits to also guide on the public lands. This hunt is more of a ranch-style affair. Clients stay in the ranch house and drive to the hunting area and hunt on foot or horseback. Hunters stay in a ranch house and the hunt includes meals. These are normally very high success elk hunts.

A unique feature about Unit 20 is that it has its own resident elk herd, but also offers migrating elk that come down from the park. Colorado's Parks & Wildlife created a late-season hunt here that allows the outfitter to hunt bull elk in December and January when the migration typically in full swing.

The resident elk are managed for 45 bulls per 100 cows ratio, which produces trophy bulls in the 300 -350-inch class with a few over 350 inches. On a good day in a good snow year, a hunter could see 30 to 40 bulls per day. Killing a bull is not a problem, but the goal is to kill a 300-inch plus class bull.

    Price is $5,000 + $1,500/voucher, plus a $1,000 trophy fee
