WY/CO MULE DEER, ANTELOPE & ELK ADVENTURES
|
We believe this is likely the largest contiguous ranch in the entire West. For the trophy mulie, elk or pronghorn hunter, or the avid trout fisher, this place is heaven in Wyoming. And the prices are quite reasonable for what they offer you! Recently 16 hunters harvested 13 Trophy Bucks between 160 to 192. Averages are in the 160 to 175 range, but obviously in such a huge area there are always big ones.
"This was an excellent hunt. My
guide was awesome at finding game for me and explaining whether this was a good animal to take or if he thought I could do better. He also listened to how I wanted to hunt and hike a lot to see the country while I was there and did so. I could not have asked for a better trip or hunt than I had - it was in only one word AWESOME." We like their very reasonable pricing, especially his the combo prices for BOTH a mule deer and an antelope. You are free to shoot the largest animal you see, no restrictions! AND importantly, he is normally 100% draw on tags.
This outfitter hunts most of western Wyoming, from the Flaming Gorge areas and the Red Desert and northward up thru Worland and beyond. The outfitter and his guides have access to some of the premier elk, antelope and deer territory in Wyoming. Every year their clients kill antelope over 80 inches, elk in the 370-inch class, muleys pushing 180 inches and big whitetails over 150 inches, too! Throw in Big Horn sheep, Shiras moose and...
The one word that describes the
outfitter's guiding operation is professional. Their guides are hard-working and very knowledgeable and the accommodations and hospitality are outstanding. The outfitter has access to more than 200,000 acres of private lands and National Forest Service leases that produce exceptional trophies year after year.
Rifle/bow/black-powder Butch and Joan have hunted this parcel a number of times for elk and deer, with bow and rifle. Their son Ed took a nice mulie here. With multiple parcels of private ranch lands totaling over 20,000 acres and access to tens of thousand acres of BLM and the Medicine Bow National Forest, this ranch offers the perfect location to plan your next DIY hunt. The first two deer hunts are four-days in duration with the third hunt being five days. The elk hunts are five-days in duration.
ONLY $3495!!!! This is a 5 day hunt. It is a fully guided, horseback hunt on Yellowstone Park's Eastern Boundary. The lodge sits only a few miles from Yellowstone's eastern border. There is a main lodge, and a series of rustic cabins, very Western, but very neat, clean and comfortable and with baths. Nearest town of size is Cody, WY about an hour from the Lodge.
This is a young outfitter that is doing
everything right!! Our guy here at the office- Brian - has guided for this outfitter the last 10 years. The Outfit is located about 45 miles West of Laramie, Wyoming, right at foot of the mountains All private land hunts on ranches that he has leased in the famed trophy elk areas of #114, and #7. If you have some Wyoming elk points- then here is your adventure.

TROPHY AUODAD- 4 OR 5 DAY HUNTS- $4000-5000
|
When most of us think Sheep we think of Dall, Stone, Rocky and Desert Bighorns starting at $15,000 and up to $28,000-with Desert Bighorns running $45,000! So for many of us, sheep hunting is well beyond our financial means.
If you have always wanted a gorgeous sheep mount to add to your game room, we can offer you a fantastic Texas free range Aoudad adventure, for much less money then you may have ever thought possible.
Aoudad, (also known as Barbary Sheep) originally came from the Barbary Coast and Sahara regions of northwestern Africa. It was imported into the US around 1924. By escaping from enclosures, and in some cases by deliberate private releases, these sheep spread quickly and adapted very well. Safari Club International, in their record book, states the following:
"The aoudad is a superb game animal, exceptionally challenging when free-ranging and difficult even where fenced." It is a very strong animal, with a mane that runs from under the chin down the shoulder and legs where it forms chaps. Brownish to blonde color, it weighs about 250 to 350 pounds and may stand well over 3 feet high at the shoulder. They are also a tough animal, so use enough rifle- something in the .270 range and above.
A trophy aoudad is typically 27" to 32"; and almost all the sheep these guys take are in that range, and some larger! They make spectacular mounts with their long flowing chaps and chest hair and thick curling horns.
These outfitters have added 8 of the top 20 Aoudad in the book last time we looked! The best times to hunt is mid January to end of February! So when elk, deer and all else is over, the lordly aoudad sheep is available.
We have several outfitters providing these hunts with terrain ranging from difficult to not so bad.
3 to 5 day hunts, range from $4000 to $5000 Give us a call, and we can discuss options and match your with the outfitter that best meets your needs.

Idaho/Utah Mountain Lion Hunt - #218
This outfitter lives for Mountain Lion hunting. He has a superb string of very experienced and well trained lion dogs, and is very knowledgeable on hound behavior and probable cat areas. His clients come from all over the world. He hunts in the southeast corner of Idaho and EXTENSIVELY in Utah and Nevada, and prefers to take trophy males, but will let you make the choice of state.
Idaho Mountain Lion - #103 We have an excellent Idaho outfitter with whom we have personally hunted several times. He has been featured many times on various TV and Outdoor shows, and Buck Masters hunts with him for their video series every year! He has excellent whitetails, mulies, elk and bear, but he does have a real passion for BIG CATS. So he hunts them all up and down the Rockies, from Idaho down to Nevada. UTAH MOUNTAIN LION HUNTING- HUNT #29 This is one of the best houndsmen we know of. He is known far and wide as one of the best breeders and best cat hound trainers in the West, and he has been doing it for nearly 30 years! Butch recently was talking with one of his competitors who again confirmed this outfitters superior expertise with dogs. And after all, lion hunts are totally dependent on the quality of the dogs!
