ALASKA #9 KODIAK ISLAND SITKA BLACKTAIL -DIY
| 5 DAY HUNT....3 DEER....$3250 The modern and beautiful lodge is Located on the south side of Kodiak Island near the remote native village of Old Harbor. Old Harbor boasts some of the best Sitka Black Tail deer populations in Alaska. Sitka Black Tail is one of the smallest species of the deer family that thrives on Kodiak Island.
Although the Kodiak deer hunting season opens August 1, we suggest waiting until November to mid December when both Doe and Buck seasons are open. The temperature begins to drop, the snow begins to fall in the higher elevations, deer begin to move down to the lower elevation and bucks are beginning to gather their does and go into rut. These combined conditions make this time of year ideal for black tail hunting.
Due to the past three winter's extremely mild temperatures, 2015 will prove to be an outstanding year to successfully harvest your Sitka Black Tail deer. There is very little Kodiak deer hunting pressure in Old Harbor.
 The hunts are based out of the lodge. This is an unguided hunt but each morning you will be transported to your hunting location for the days hunt. You will picked up at a pre designated location and returned to the lodge for a hot shower and a fantastic Alaskan meal where you can relax and share your Kodiak deer hunting stories. After you harvest your buck, you can add to your Alaskan experience by hunting fox, water fowl or fishing for winter King Salmon and halibut. The goal is to provide you with a first class hunt in remote Alaska that very few people have experienced.
Price will include:
* Kodiak Deer hunting, Duck hunting and fishing
* Lodging
* Meals
* Snacks
* Beverages
* Transportation to and from hunt grounds

NWT #163 TROPHY DALL SHEEP, MOUNTAIN CARIBOU
|
For the last several years, this area of the NWT (Mackenzie Mountains) has been producing extremely high success rates on Dall Sheep, averaging in excess of 95%.
This outfitter has hunters who have returned 5, 6, and even 9 times! This high success means he can be booked up as much as 15 months in advance, so do not procrastinate in booking him! Besides his high success, his sheep average 10.5 years old! This clearly shows that his area is healthy and not over hunted, and the extra years of age on these rams equate to more mass and larger horns. The rams averaged nearly 36 ˝", and since many hunters shoot the first decent ram they see, this speaks volumes as to potential. Normally, most hunters will see five to 10 rams, but you may see over 30!
This area is one of the better regions for exceptional mountain caribou, with one scoring 407-2/8. They have taken a number of Boone and Crocket Caribou in recent years, including a pending world record of 463 B&C. Many book heads come from this area. We just finished some research on mountain caribou, and his herd appears to be the largest in the NWT by a good margin. The outfitter has a combo hunt option for both sheep and caribou, and it costs only an average of $6400 more to include the caribou. That is a relative bargain, as a good mountain caribou hunt typically is a solid $7,500 -$9,500 or more.
Please also note that wolf and wolverine are included free, assuming you have the tags. Most hunting is done via horseback, making this hunt easier than many. It still helps to be in reasonable shape, of course.

IDAHO #243 EXCEPTIONAL WHITETAIL HUNTING
|
TWO OPENINGS NOV. 16 TO 22.
PEAK OF THE RUT, GET THEM QUICK THEY WON'T LAST.
This hunt offers a chance to chase whitetails in a beautiful area in northwest Idaho near Kooskia in the Clearwater area. You will be hunting 1200 acres of prime Idaho deer habitat. The Outfitter owns a nice ranch and is ALSO permitted on several thousand acres of adjacent BLM land as well. Clients have been re-booking this hunt and have indicated a high amount of satisfaction on the deer hunting, and on the lodge and the overall experience. This terrain is more open then most whitetail hunters are used to! But it means you have time to scope them out; it means deer are very visible and it means that shots are longer- with 200 yards being common, although they can be much closer or further.
This is a fun, high success whitetail hunt! Deer taken will be nice 8 and 10 point deer, and success is normally 100%. If you want to be pampered a bit, not work too hard, take your buck,, see gorgeous country, then look no further.
2015 PRICE: $2,500, FULL 7-DAY HUNT W/ GUIDING, MEALS AND LODGING INCLUDED.
Hunt license is $154. Deer tag is $301.75 (can also be used for either lion or bear) NON-HUNTERS $750

HUNGARY #171 GIANT FALLOW DEER, BOAR, STAG
| Hungary is about the size of Indiana and borders Austria on the west and Romania on the east. Very fertile rolling plains abound. Both the Danube and Tisza Rivers dominate, splitting the country into 3 parts. The high point is only 2,894 feet.
The biggest Fallow deer, arguably in the world, come from Hungary, including the world record.
The forestry area in northeastern Hungary called GUTH/ NYIRERDÖ -- is famous for its excellent game, especially the main game of fallow deer. This area produces some true giants and many have made SCI record books. In addition, there are Red Deer, Roe deer and Wild Boar. To hunt in the area known as Guth is a special experience, where quality is paramount. Very high success- usually 100%. *HUNTING AREA: Approx. 11.500 hectares (about 25,000 acres) *NATURAL FEATURES: 67 % woodland *ACCOMMODATION: is in three different lodges.
The harvested trophies have to be presented to the official Trophy Assessment Commission after the hunt and cannot be taken along by the hunter. The trophies will later be sent to clients address. The chargeable weight of the horns needs to be entered into the hunting protocol by the game reserve. The basis of invoicing is the trophy weight that has been officially determined by the Trophy Assessment Commission 24 hours after boiling. The harvested and paid trophy is the property of the hunter, except for the game meat, which can be acquired by the hunting guest at an extra charge. The same applies to coats.
The final invoice is based on the completed and mutually signed shooting list according to the respective price list. For wounded game 50% of estimated trophy weight and/or harvest fee is charged.
