This particular operation hunts approximately 120,000 acres, consisting of 5 ranches. One of the ranches added for the 2015/16 year, has reportedly not been hunted for 3 years. The hunting area is surrounded by high mountains, which are great Desert sheep country and also offer many hiding places for slammer muleys and Coues. You can glass vast areas and will see far different scenery then you are used to seeing in mule deer country. Sitting on the front veranda, you will be impressed by the nearness of the mountains.
A hard working and dedicated outfitter with good ranches who will likely send you home with a true trophy. Most hunters are turning down solid 170 to 178" deer, and some clients will not shoot anything less then a 190" deer. So success rates drop a little, naturally. We think the average success on premium ranches averages in the 80% to 90% range, depending on sizes wanted and hunters shooting abilities- these percentages are pretty amazing.
 
DISCOUNTED DESERT BIGHORNS
Sheep hunt is $32,500 and dates are established on an on-call basis. Once a shooter sheep is located you are notified.
This allows for a flexible schedule. Dates can range from November 15 to February. Please inquire for full details. Most of these are solid representative sheep from the sheep we saw and the pictures we have seen. We think a 155 to 170" ram is the likely range. They scout until they find your sheep, then camp on him and call you to see how soon you can arrive. Normally within 3 or 4 days you will take your ram. They have been 100% for a number of years and I have seen the many pictures on their ranch walls. Our 2015 sheep hunter scored in just 2 days - they knew where he was! Price includes pre-baiting , one male leopard , all 1X1 guiding, meals and lodging in safari camp are included at $ 16,500.
He also did have open slots for plains game from August to November and a bonus.....no charters at all, pickup in Windhoek. This PH has been with us many years and always seems to send clients away very pleased.

Last year in Sept they were baiting a huge leopard male for a protracted period. When finally taken, he did pull the scale down to 187.4 pounds, with a skull measurement of 19 and 3/8ths. They baited him from May to Aug on 14 warthogs. He never took the bait in a tree only from a low hanging bait. The client wounded him, then they followed up with the dogs. He did hurt 3 dogs and in thick cover before they shot him at 14 yards.
This PH also has excellent plains game, a very traditional African lodge and chalet and is a world class tracker in his own right. One client felt he was the best tracker he had ever seen, better even then the locals! Call or email us for his full writeup.

| ALASKA # 102 2015 DIY SPECIAL: MOOSE & BEAR | 
Over the past 14 years, we have sent about 40 or more hunters to this Lodge in the Talkeetna Mountains. The original outfitter did sell out in 2012, and the new owners have shown that they're even more capable! Secure funding, excellent equipment and several planes, and are much more aggressive in terms of moving clients into areas not hunted in many years. This has always been a good operation, but we think it is poised to become something special.
They have greatly expanded the hunting program here, and the moose taken have been really large. The area has both brown bear and grizzly; Dall sheep, caribou and more.

Days are typically one long- never ending stalk, with rarely more than 30 minutes going by without seeing a stag. During the prime roar, a good morning hunt might show you 10 to 15 big stags, a slow morning 3 to 6! (Not counting the roars you pass on!) The total volume of antlers seen was absolutely beyond belief.
To catch roaring stags you want to hunt in March and April. Those are equivalent to our September and October. Prime dates for these hunts are being grabbed now, so it is time to get serious.
All of these hunts have extreme success on great animals!

BRITISH COLUMBIA # 2 6-DAY WHITETAIL HUNT

This outfitter takes a limited amount of hunters each year and stays booked up sometimes years in advance on his rifle hunts. Like wise most hunters completely overlook his Archery hunts and it's a shame!
This outfitter extensively scouts his properties year round for big bucks. During early archery season he sets up stands to intercept deer on their natural feeding and bedding patterns. Bucks at this time of the year are pretty predictable and receive little to no pressure at all. Don't miss out on your chance to get first crack at some of these awesome Bucks! This is probably the hottest giant whitetail hunt that we know of anywhere, No guarantees of course when you won't settle for anything less than a 160-inch trophy, but he does have access to some great bucks with tremendous genetics.
