Located just 20 miles south of Hayden, CO with easy access to the airport, the area is home to the largest herd of elk in the nation, and the outfitter has access to some of the best big game habitat in the region.
You can buy an over-the-counter archery either sex elk tag and also a cow tag. That allows you to take two elk. No extra charge! Many clients take the first cow that shows up, to get some meat in the freezer, and then go looking for a big bull.

This Outfitter is new to us in 2015 but not lacking in Big Buck experience. We have observed other outfitters that way over hunt their properties. If you have been on a guided hunt where there are too many guys in camp and all week you saw only small bucks and few does, then we have the outfitter for you!! With only 6 hunters in camp at a time and strictly managed property you are sure to have an awesome hunting experience!
The last two of years this outfitter has an average deer score pushing close to 150 inches on mature bucks and he expecting 2015 to be no different. This combined with a very reasonable price and no draw on the tags makes this hunt a potential sleeper in our book.
The Outfitters hunting ground is located in Central Missouri and provides some excellent deer & turkey cover. Both bow and firearm hunters are welcome on his 5,000 private acres. The grounds are managed and maintained year round for big bucks to ensure the best possible hunting experience.
The Owner/Outfitter has the 8th largest bow kill on the Missouri Big Bucks list, a whopping 215" giant. He has several P&Y kills, as well as 2 other B&C class bucks all archery kills. With this experience under his belt and a top notch guide staff we are confident that this hunt will produce some very nice bucks in the years to come.
 
All hunts are 5 day hunts, with the hunters showing up the evening before the first day of the hunt, and leaving mid morning, the day after their last evening hunt. Prices include all 3 daily meals and lodging. Flights can be scheduled into the airport in Kansas City, MO. The outfitters base camp is a 1 ½ hour drive from the airport.

COLORADO# 141- RFW ELK HUNT IN SEPTEMBER

I got a call from one of my Colorado Ranching For Wildlife operations Northwest of Steamboat Springs (Guaranteed Tags) With a cancellation elk hunt Sept. 2-6. 5 day hunt $6500 rifle, bow or both you pick.
Over the last 17 years, this outfitter has amassed a remarkable harvest percentage of 94.8% on branch-antlered bull elk. At one point, the outfitter could claim to have taken 307 bull elk for his last 320 clients! That's an impressive record!
This highly successful outfitter hunts on private ranches northwestern of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The elk herd in this area is reported to be 22,000 head. Most bull elk here will be good 5x 5's and 6x 6's, with some exceptional elk in the 320-inch class and above are harvested every season. Due to the outfitter's commitment to wildlife management and complete control of the property borders and boundaries, there is an amazing number of trophy elk available to the outfitter and his clients.
Ranches are equipped with hot running water, electricity, beds and most modern conveniences. Meals are served daily and are some of the finest western cuisine available. Hunting is done primarily on foot with 4WD vehicles, horses, and ATV to move around the ranches. Elevations vary from around 6,000 to 8,500 feet, but because of the ranch roads, there isn't a lot of climbing required.

This ranch has exceptional numbers of wide-racked mule deer in the 165 to 180 class, and some that can reach up into the 190+inch range!. Since most clients concentrate on elk, the mule deer are usually killed late in the season and the wise, old bucks are not hunted terribly hard.
Hunting on this wonderful private ranch may well be the opportunity of a lifetime. Stay in a 3,000-foot deluxe, luxury lodge while enjoying a 60-inch satellite TV and Internet access. WYOMING PREFERENCE POINTS ON SALE NOW
| The days of being able to draw Wyoming hunting licenses or just waiting for the left over list to come out are over. Every year it's more and more evident that if you are wanting to hunt Wyoming non-resident big game, you need to be collecting preference points now (plan ahead). The points went on sale July 1, and will be available until September 30, on the Wyoming Game and Fish website wgfd.wyo.gov
These points improve you drawing odds, and will make it possible to hunt in areas that you would never have the opportunity to hunt in. Preference points can also save you money in the long run, by making it possible to draw at the regular licenses rate rather than the special rate, this could save you as much as $500 on an elk licenses. Some outfitters in these hard to draw areas are starting to refund some or even all of your point expenses when you book with them.
Youth points are a bargain only $10, buy them now for your children. This is an awesome way to insure your children or grandchildren will have some spectacular hunts in our great state.
